hmm still haven't seen this update guess I should check to see what version I am running.

I haven’t gotten any notifications either. Do we have to be hooked up to home WiFi? I never did that over battery draining concerns

The only reason I know my truck is updated is my daughter called as I shut it off at the grocery store on my way to work (I had to resupply my under-desk fridge ).

I watched the update message appear as I spoke with my kiddo.

For what it is worth I have auto updates enabled and no battery issues so far.

Other than the Adaptive Braking issue, which wasn't an issue (and a couple of broken warranty-covered trim pieces), this truck has been absolutely flawless...

Every day: "I LOVE this frigging truck!!" since Jan 7th...

Amen!! Well said, every day! I go to bed every night thinking “what truck things will I do tomorrow”, then wake up like its Christmas morning and “what truck things am I going to do today”. I’m sure this will wear off, but for now it’s Christmas morning every day!

I got the update notice again... Same result. Set it up to run over night and the next morning it said it had not updated...

Just install it when it pops up, seems to be the only way a lot of people can get it to update

Yeah it's only way. Scheduled installs never work or at least never had luck with them for 5+ years and looks like it's still the same. Mine did the same but I was hesitant to install being so far away from home. When it popped up again day later it had no problems installing right away.

Got the notification today. Took delivery Thanksgiving 2024. Will see about install tomorrow. We shall see what happens.

Got my notification yesterday morning as soon as the wife and I pulled into our destination about 20 minutes from the house. I elected not to do it then and was hopeful it would give me the option when we got back home an hour later - so far nada

Hopefully it'll come back today when I arrive at the office

How do you see what version your currently running? I looked through the system info and didn't see anything relating to this update number stated in post #7......

The update was to the security gateway and its accessible by attaching to the OBD port. Being able to communicate with the gateway
depends on how well the OBD-II device you have can do that.

I hope RAM updates the screen size for cameras. So much real estate available, seems like a waste to not use it. Also, get rid of bottom trailer brake and sensor options, so infrequently used

Got my 2nd OTA update last night when I parked, anyone know what this one is? Also got a message in the Ram app saying my services were being updated, but no full app update

I had one last Saturday night. I think it was something about an update to the "security gateway"? I honestly don't remember fully at this point. I was just happy the radio turned off (it didn't turn off when I got out of the truck as the update started).

I am not sure if they are done by VIN...maybe your truck doesn't need them?

When I turn the car off, if an update is ready, on the uconnect screen it will ask if I want to update now or schedule an update. I always update when it comes up.
