I think it’s more like- in the history of people using the Uconnect site to check for updates for the newer vehicles, nobody has ever scrolled down to see that the uconnect site to download usb updates doesn’t apply to vehicles that are capable of OTA updates.the Uconnect website has never, in the history of mankind, actually told someone that they needed an update. It's a useless web page, because it always says the same thing. Many people have mentioned it to RamCares, but it never changes.
Seems very hit or miss with them. I’ve played telephone tag with a higher up for 2 weeks. Every time I leave a message I beg him to email me, but he just keeps calling and leaving a voicemail back. Never acknowledged that I’ve asked him to contact me via email. We’re in a refuel outage at work and it’s impossible to answer the phone when he calls. It’s beyond frustrating.Talking about RamCares. I direct message them since they popped around and never got a response. Not even to say that they would look into it. I guess another known issue and hide until they figure it out.
I used to get that message frequently BEFORE I did the update. I just pressed "okay" and motored on, as it eventually resolved itself and didn't feel like dropping it off at the dealer for weeks of non-help. Since the R5T update and updating my iPhone to IOS 26 I haven't had the problem and the Carplay skipping has gone away. Go figure.Drove the truck today for the first time after the update and have the BS to deal with.
Got that a few times after updates or if it hadn't completed its update. It will go away on its own and there are no issues.Drove the truck today for the first time after the update and have the BS to deal with.
Update: Dropped it off at the dealer this morning and just picked it up. Stated they need to replace the TBM2 (Telematic Box Module 2) which is on back order. This is BS. The notice keeps coming up and I hit the X and it comes right back.Drove the truck today for the first time after the update and have the BS to deal with.

When the service employee went to get my truck it would not start….dead battery. They jumped it off. I noticed going down the road the check engine light is now on. Wow.
On a positive note, I was having an issue with the tailgate not opening and closing automatically (it would work about 70% of the time). The position sensor is bad and will be replaced tomorrow. Will deal with the check engine light then.
Sorry to hear that....been there a few times. Dealer said it was due to a bad module even though the battery died on me three times. Got one switched out after being at the dealer for a month and then they said it needed two more that are backordered. So i'm driving it around without blind spot monitoring and a few other safety items line lane assist.Friday Update: Battery is dead / will not start.
I had the same msg last month when I was back from a long trip and started the truck after disconnected the battery maintainer. Battery voltage was 12 (because maintainer set it to 12V). However, it didn't affect start up, neither did it impact driving. After 2 more start ups, the msg was gone and battery voltage was back to 14.1V.Update: Dropped it off at the dealer this morning and just picked it up. That would be nice. Maybe I'm just jaded by my daily driver but my truck has always felt lethargic to me. I'd appreciate some spring in its step.It does seem to have improved the responsiveness.

Damn that’s frustrating. I had my batteries replaced the day after I bought it. Dealer thought it was causing my issues. (Batteries ended up not being the issue)After the battery failed, the dealer installed a two new batteries (main and secondary) yesterday. Went to start this morning and the battery is dead again. Keep in mind this is a 2026 model. The issues continue.
What was the fix for yours?Damn that’s frustrating. I had my batteries replaced the day after I bought it. Dealer thought it was causing my issues. (Batteries ended up not being the issue)
This is issue is so different for everyone. I leave my keys about 15ft from my truck and all times and I have the proximity wake up feature on still and never have an issue. It say In the driveway for 2 weeks while I was away and it was fine when I returned.
There must be a module on your truck that isn’t “going to sleep” when parked. Strange either way and I hope they get it sorted for you.
I was having some crazy transmission issues and check engine lights and warnings. Never any battery issues. It ended up being bad wiring at the cam position sensors. What was the fix for yours?
Just heard back from my Ram Cares rep before the dealership service tech and the additional modules can't be ordered until 11/1, so hopefully the ordeal that's been going on since early September will be fixed before Thanksgiving....Sorry to hear that....been there a few times.
