I agree. I read the updates and noticed the infotainment is a little quicker. Still, For some reason my truck felt different when I drove it the next morning. I wasn’t expecting anything different but the throttle is less hesitant than before. These trucks seem to have a mind of their own. Maybe it just decided to fix the pedal

Pedal lag sucks on these trucks, CAT6 fixes that nicely. I don't think that would be addressed in U connect updates though, it's ECU related.

It's weird that there isn't a "check for updates" button. You just get it randomly and hopefully that's a convenient moment for you. Whenever I've snoozed it it's never come back.

Agree...I wasn't ready the first time, wanted to get home first. It took me at least 5x key cycles to get the message to come back.

I haven't completed mine yet, do you notice any changes to the cluster? I'm hoping they implement the boost gauge as an option in the cluster for 25s, which is now standard for 26.

No boost gauge… Everything appears as before on my cluster. Bummer.

Mine updated today and I should have taken a damn picture of the 'what's new' after it completed, but one of the things that was stated was 'power management'

Unsure what that means but it was interesting

This was my 3rd update since I took possession of the truck in December

I went straight to Mexico after it finished and hit 178 MPH so that was nice

Mine last night and I did the same thing as you, I didn't see the " whats new " til it was to late. Only thing I noticed with my service is now on my Ram app I can turn on ventilation. Was hopeful the digital key was in the update but I guess not.

No boost gauge… Everything appears as before on my cluster. Bummer.

Connected to wifi (I have the Ram wifi but any network will do as long as you're showing connected in the wifi software update app)

I was not connected to wifi. Mine hit as I pulled into work yesterday morning. Once I shut the truck off I noticed my radio stayed on and asked me if I wanted to update.

This is exactly what mine did. I stopped at a fuel station last night, got out, closed the door and the song i was listening to with Carplay started again. At first i thought i failed to turn the engine off. Once i got home, i noticed the prompt at shut off. It had an option to schedule the update in the middle of the night. When i got in this morning it said update complete. The only thing i noticed different is it didn’t keep dropping Carplay audio randomly this morning.

Got the update prompt today when we pulled up to Waffle House. Pressed the button, locked the doors and went in to eat. By the time we came out, it was done...easy.

Update from the dealer (I was there today getting exhaust) -- dealer claims they can now do power train software updates over the air -- go figure!

What a great idea. Nothing can go wrong there.

I'd take what the 'master mechanic' said with a grain of salt --- if we can't see what's in the update package it's anyone guess.
