I. Did mine at 3000, dealer seemed confused as to why I wanted it done. Then they put the oil reminder sticker on my windshield for 10,500 miles, guess they aren’t following the recommendation in the manual. The most frustrating part was I told them not to wash the truck as I’m crazy particular about washing. I watched the tech spray windshield cleaner on my hood and start rubbing it with a paper towel. By the time I entered the service bay he started doing the same to my door handles. I probably looked like a crazy person telling him to stop but wtf! When is everyone planning on changing their oil for the first time? I’m at about 3500 miles. I know some have changed at around 1000-1200, but that ship has sailed for me at this point.
Is it wise to change soon, or wait until the 6000 mark?
Also, I know some have done the differentials and transfer case. I know that’s pricey, but so is the truck. I don’t mind paying if it’s a wise thing to do, but don’t want to waste money if it’s overkill
Thanks in advance for everyone’s thoughts!
Isn't it crazy? You're standing there trying to hand them money, and they act like they don't want it??!!I. Did mine at 3000, dealer seemed confused as to why I wanted it done.
