Tonneau debate continues

In a wild turn of events, I just snagged a RetraxPro MX on Facebook marketplace for $650. This is the same cover I have on my 2020 currently, so happy to have found it. Mine leaves some to be desired in terms of water proofness, but I’m hoping this one will be better without trying to seal against the Ramboxes. Otherwise, I do love everything about the cover.

Guess I’ll be sending the Gator Recoil back.

I bought a rough country tonneau, looks like something my brother would make with scrap parts. It fits but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired…
Which one did you get?

We went with the Leer latitude soft top. Had the mopar soft one on previous Jeep. The leer was $400 vs $700 Mopar. Both seem good quality wise ; water proof etc. Leer is vinyl and mopar was canvas ( which I patched a small cut easily) The mopar one opened a bit further but the leer looks easily removable.

There are prop rods on both sides of the bed. You can see one side here. It doesn't block the camera. You can see how the rod stores when not in use. It is not recommended to go over 65mph with the cover in this position.
BTW, loving the truck!

This has the bed utility group? Fit okay? Which tonneau was it and how do you like it now with some time having it installed

Yes, I have the BUG option. Fit is great. I got the Linex LXP since it has the UV protection. I live in SoFLA and it's parked outside. It's about $100 more than a retail Bakflip MX4, and that $100 gets you a factory Linex coating and a professional installation. I would have been fine doing the Bakflip install myself, but if a pro installer who does a several per week can do it, then I know it's right. I love it. Very low profile, easy to clean bird droppings, no leakage in a heavy rain, easy to operate. All positives, no negatives so far.

Love my Bakflip:)
