Practice for TRX ownership

Glad you finally got that tuner on. Agreed it doesn’t turn it into a V8, but the difference is pretty substantial especially WOT. Curious what your particular truck does 0-60 now.

I can’t wait to see what kinda gas mileage you get with a TRX. I’m thinking new world record territory!

Yeah man it definitely woke the truck up!

So as far as 0-60, I haven't really had a chance to do an actual good run yet (literally only have went to and from work since then- and theres no good spot to do it).

However, last Thursday I did get lucky enough to get first in line at a red light. It was raining pretty hard. I floored it (no launch control or brake) and got a 4.8. This was with no traction. My truck would literally not do under 5.3 before no matter what I did!

Slowly making progress towards that miracle number that Ram claims stock

As far as gas milage, I'd wager it will probably settle in at around 7-8mpg. Sounds terrible, but I don't do a ton of driving it's not that big of a deal.

Added Baja Design Lp9 front and S2 to the rear. The Lp9 are wicked.

Would you do the LP9’s again with the Baja kit if you were doing it again? I’m about to pull the trigger on either the LP9 pro kit or the OnX6 light bar. I’d be interested to hear your take on how they look and perform.

Took my one-week-old RHO in to get put on the trailer brake recall list. My F-150 did the same shit, so not surprised.

Went on an absolute rip today. First time that I actually was able to take it out besides my normal commute since installing the cat6.

Put 35psi to her for about 1 hour straight. Didn't explode yet . Baja mode the entire time.

God this thing is fun. Another 200hp and I think that will be the sweet spot for casual driving.

Do I get the TRX? Do I level this, put it on 37s, and do downpipes and just go nuts? Decisions, decisions.

Very Happy for you, i'm sure you felt like a dog with two dicks when letting it rip...Now, with all the aggressive driving did you notice what your MPG goes down to and the other data point would be if you decided to leave it in its full potential mode, driving moderately, does the mpg settle out to what one would normally expect to see of ~13 mpg?
