What did you do to your RHO Today?

Installed the Builtright Bedside Rack MOLLE Panel System | RAM 1500 (2019+) - 5'7" / Full Kit (4pc) / Stage 1 × 1.

Surprised there were no instructions included. It is pretty obvious where stuff goes, but inserts had a problem with the factory sprayed in bed liner. Had to just lightly clean hole out. I had some industrial adhesive and coated the inserts tapped them just hard enough with a 2# hammer to start and then gave them a firm knock to seat them. Adhesive needs 3 days to set for maximum strength, then I'll set the panels.

Going to use these to mount Roto X Pax gas and water containers when I am out West bouncing around.

Cleaned under hood yesterday to make it look new again.

Have not saw anyone talk about this at all and I didnt get a pic but I will. On the under side of the hood at the back of the air induction system in the center there are 3 flaps that open. Does anyone know what these are for? Engine cooling? I assumed it was a sealed system to force as much air as possible to the air intake. Have never noticed these, but while cleaning I noticed they open. Any ideas brain trust?

It’s to redirect water. They open to let water go through instead of routing to the filter.

Did a deep interior detail after this nasty winter.
And just to explain how OCD I am, I lay carpet runner plastic down on the carpet then put the floor mats back in on top of it.
In fact when they were appraising my truck they asked about the plastic.
🤷‍♂️🤪

Since I got my tonneau cover on decided to seal the tailgate with weather stripping foam and contact cement. Have learned over the years that the weather stripping needs a little help to stay attached. I just use a flashlight to find the gaps. Isn't 100% but it stops probably 95%.

I have a ton of things to do, right now one side of my garage has been taken over by boxes of truck stuff. But the weather here has not been good to get anything done. (my garage is not big enough to have the truck in and have room to work on it :cautious:, at least I can squeeze it in if its going to storm.) Finally, some sun today allowed me to get a start on my project.

Added LasFit bed mat and tailgate mat. (Their website said the tailgate mat doesn't fit but it fit perfect.)

Installed the Weathertech mud flaps. (don't totally like the look of flaps, but I hate torn up paint more, the molded shape does help, and you really dont notice them if you are not looking for them, and PPF is ridiculously expensive for what it is, I would like to do some, but I have a ton of other stuff to pay for as well, and I already did ceramic so not sure how well it will stick. Hopefully the tape on the Husky rocker covers will stick when I get to doing those)

Tell me about your tonneau cover, please.

Tell me about your tonneau cover, please.
It is the OEM cover from Ram, came with the truck. Its kind of Meh, but I didnt order the truck, it was someone elses canceled order, it had all the options I wanted plus a couple extra, so I took it. But it works, so it serves its purpose.

It is going to be something that is on sometimes, and off sometimes, when I put the cap on for trips.

Did the first oil change Monday night at 1,070 miles. Didn't think I was ever going to get the damn filter off. Not sure why they feel the need to put them on so tight from the factory.

Added the Wolfbox Tripro set up to my base level. Love that I have a bed camera and a front camera since these things are so tall. Went in through the third brake light for the rear bed camera for a cleaner look.

Tried to figure what the wife did to the truck . She drove it today for the first time and on her way had stop and go traffic . She said at one stop the truck wouldn’t go from a complete stop but would rev . No warning lights on dash. She said she put it in parked power cycled and no issue . I drove it after and no issues . Not sure if she was in neutral by accident or but parking break .

Anyone have had this happen to them ?

Parking brake. I had it set to automatically apply and if you put it in Park, it will set. Go back into drive and the engine will rev with no movement until you release the parking brake.

Yeah but it wouldn't (shouldn't) engage at a stop light in DRIVE. @Joemh711 I'd probably keep an eye on that and maybe have it checked out at your next service....can't hurt. Even if they don't find anything and there aren't any codes, at least it's documented.
