How does the ride feel with both F+R sways installed?!?Yes...A noticeable difference in body roll, and would improve cornering traction...I have a feeling the factory bar is hollow....The Hellwig is solid spring steel...I will find out tomorrow.

There is definitely a noticeable improvement with body roll and will have to wait until it rains to check if traction improves, which I feel it will...As for the front bar I was WRONG, the front bar is solid...I could feel improvement hitting the rough RR tracks near my house and steering feels a hair more responsive....Is the front bar a necessary upgrade, probably not...But being a Harley owner for 40+ years upgrading/replacing parts is a way of life!!How does the ride feel with both F+R sways installed?!?
$100 to do this for you ...Installed the Autostop Eliminator today. Worth every penny.
Yep! And I would have paid $200!
Yes it is.Installed the Autostop Eliminator today. Worth every penny.
I prepped for the first oil change tonight. Installed a new Fumoto drain plug. And yes, the shop vac on the oil fill port trick works like a charm.Busy day, installed Cat6, changed the oil and filter, detailed under the hood, PPF'd the rocker panels and plugged the front license plate holes
It’s never just one press and you know it @Mikey Swift its at least 2-3 depending on how reactive the drive mode is that day.
Facts!! The obligatory 'are you sure' button press always follows. It’s never just one press and you know it @Mikey Swift its at least 2-3 depending on how reactive the drive mode is that day.
How was the Hellwig install, I'll be doing mine either tonight or tomorrow? Did you jack the truck up to do it, I thought I read to leave the suspension loaded and which setting did you choose to use?Installed Rokblokz and Hellwig rear sway bar View attachment 30859
I didn't jack her up...I put it in the middle hole for now..If you purchased the set up for the Trx/Rho it will be easy...I purchased a kit that needed holes drilled, which is a little more work. How was the Hellwig install, I'll be doing mine either tonight or tomorrow? I am assuming that is why you installed the spacers on your set up....My girl is a Pavement Princess, but if I was to off road her I would have done your set up...Eibach has the collars built into the bar which I feel is a better product for heavy usage.I would be real curious to find out if anybody that purchased either of the Hellwig kits have raised the vehicle and let the rear axle hang at full droop. Look to see If the sway bar is forced tight up against the spring perch on the axle and to see if the axle itself is hanging from the sway bar and it’s links at full droop instead of hanging from the shocks
A couple of post before this the guy with the Hellwig also has the collars on the bar, but he didn’t buy the RHO specific kit. Yes that is why I have the spacer blocks and 15 inch links. It doesn’t really matter if you’re not gonna take it offroad except for if somebody was to service your vehicle and pick it up from a frame lift and leave the axle hanging. Then the issue would be whether or not the sway bar would try to flip over forward relative to the vehicle. That is the same concern if you were using it for extreme offloading, i.e. the axel leave the ground.I am assuming that is why you installed the spacers on your set up....My girl is a Pavement Princess, but if I was to off road her I would have done your set up...Eibach has the collars built into the bar which I feel is a better product for heavy usage.
