I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on it and if you get a lot of drone. Of all the available options I think this sounds really good.Okay maybe not a great video but here’s a startup teaser of the aFe Vulcan catback i had installed yesterday. I’ll try to get better videos soon
There is a bit of drone around 2k rpms when cruising 65-70mph. It's not awful but it's definitely noticeable. I'll see if I can't borrow a decibel meter from work and get a read on it. Me personally...I can live with it and with music on it's not at all overpowering. I will say this though....this exhaust is NOT quiet by any means! Cold starts are almost wake the neighbors loud. The video I posted wasn't really a warm start but it wasn't cold either.I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on it and if you get a lot of drone. The challenge I had with my MX4s in the past were really oxidation and fading. Seems that they would last about a year. I would finally get tired of the way it looked on an otherwise great looking truck and call support. They were very good with replacements. They would have me drill holes in the old one and send a picture and then they would send the new one. I think I went through four total before I gave up. Other than this I love the concept and would consider trying another if they changed their coating process.Look at how the MX4 is holding up after a whopping 4 months.
