How do you get to them?

Is it just the skid plate that has to come off?

The dealership said the whole bumper has to be removed...

You do indeed have to drop the skid plate as shown in the first picture.

Front tow hooks are held on by 2 bolts. The forward most bolt you can loosen and just leave in but the rear bolt is the long one...roughly 10.25" which is the reason for removing the skid plate. I took a crescent wrench and hammer and just tapped out the bolt, wasnt that difficult.

If you look at 3rd picture you can see im pointing to the two bolts that hold the mount for the skid plate forward bolts, you'll definitely need to loosen those, even easier to judt remove altogether, in order to pull the tow hook out. There just isn't enough room for them to pull out with that mount there. That's all...it's actually pretty simple.

I’m bummed at how little people try to race me. I thought it would happen more often. Have yet to get lucky enough to be at a red light with a Raptor.

It’s a rare occurrence, today was not like most days. I still haven’t raced a Raptor. I see them behind me and try n time lights so they can catch up but God doesn’t want me to

Tow hooks turned out pretty good in my opinion! I was afraid it might be TOO yellow, but I like the pop. And yes, im adjusting the exhaust gap as we speak

It’s the truck version of yellow bumper guards from The chargers and challengers! Honestly, it doesn’t look bad lol.

Yeah, then when they want to run you at a light and that dammn turbo spool takes too long... I had a Silverado punch ahead of me, and we had about 20-30 yards until the road became one lane. Sitting at the light, I did not expect him to get on the gas too quickly, which he did. He fully got a truck length on me before my RHO roared to life; at that point, it was too late, he got the jump. Made me want a Pedal Commander and a tune. I know with two lanes, RHOnin would have lurched ahead, but that "off the line" (without launch) sucks!

For sure...the tune and pedal commander helps a ton...but if I think Im going to play with someone at a light, I bring the rpms up to about 2500-3k rpms....the truck isnt too loud so its not obvious...but when the light turns green...its fun fun fun

I don’t care what’s next to me, I assume everyone wants to rave when it’s a merge to 1 lane. I’m always ready!

I've watched too many folks being scraped/washed off the pavement during my PD days to ever street race. Many were people not racing, just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yup…it’s a short burst..not that it’s right but in all honestly rarely exceed the speed limit where it happens.
