It's a feature, you can see right through to the fuel level in the tank.Just noticed today that my fuel door has thin paint. I can see right through the paint. Only noticed because after dinner the driver side was directly in the sun. I have never noticed before. When its not in the sun you cant notice it at all. 1st real issue spotted. Annoyed!!!
I want to laugh, but im truly not happy. LOL... Ive detailed and cleaned this thing dozens of times... Guess my vision isnt what it use to be.It's a feature, you can see right through to the fuel level in the tank.
What part of DFW!!?Nope I get PLENTY of that here in NTX! Drivers in DFW are MUCH worse than in Houston!
I use this shit for my wheel wells and itโs legit! Also use it on my running boards, makes the truck look amazingChemical Guys Barebones Undercarriage Spray

I spray it on, then wipe down the areas I can reach. The rest of the areas, you can let it spread out and do its own thing. For the undercarriage, I spray it on, wipe down the fender liners, and I'm done. It evens itself out very well.
Works great under the hood, too.
After you do it once, the dirt sticks to the Barebones, but washes right off. I reapply after three or four washes.
It's excellent on the bumpers and exterior plastic trim, but BE WARNED: Barebones is heavy & thick. When coating exterior plastics and bumpers, I spray it on a microfiber towel, then wipe down most areas. It might be too heavy for some folks' liking...
It's purple in the bottle and has a Jolly Rancher Grape smell to it.
I'm in Denton and commute to Dallas (Medical Center) every dayWhat part of DFW!!?

Literally right across the highway from me....can be there in 5 minutes from my house

Closest one to you would be Dickinson/Texas City correct? While we live in Texas, there isn't one close....so we always feel like tourists as we inevitably stop by when we see one

Baytown according to Google(although weโve never been to that one ). We are north east of Houston.Closest one to you would be Dickinson/Texas City correct?
Iโm guessing you already explained where you got that molle mount and how to install it?Installed a hitch storage mount in the bed on my molle. Beats the hell out of it laying on the bed floor in the backseat.
I did. A few pages back in this thread I believe. The panels came from Amazon. Reasonably priced. If you can't find my post and the link, let me know.Iโm guessing you already explained where you got that molle mount and how to install it?
Love that you kept the factory rails
Chris
The structural engineer in me is cringing a little. I feel like you need to remove the lock pin and turn it 90 degrees, or at least move the hitch to the opposite end of the drop arm. Hitting any good bumps will surely flex that panel unnecessarily with all that weight hanging out there. Plus, it sticks out SO FAR into the bed!Installed a hitch storage mount in the bed on my molle. Beats the hell out of it laying on the bed floor in the backseat.
You're right. I turned it 90 after taking the picture. I'm hoping not to have to change the drop for storing it but I get what you're saying. The structural engineer in me is cringing a little.
