What did you do to your RHO Today?

Yep, IGLA installed. First thing I did after I got the film and ceramic done to it. They basically broke my lights control. Didn't get anywhere with the wiring. Still drivable. Gotta get that damn window fixed while it's below freezing. At least it's not raining! Funny that they go in and outta the rear window to avoid tripping the alarm.

I’m sorry about that. :(

Here in Texas we can kill for that (past sunset).

Ours is in a brightly lit “carport” with multiple cameras etc.

Heaven help those that try that.

Again…sorry. The judges, politicians and such suck now. They’re more concerned about the criminal than the victims.

Chris

\Here's hoping they don't come back tonight. And, if they do....That I catch them.

Damn brother sorry that happened. I can think of roughly 5.56 different ways to take care of them if they do come back...

Washed it and did a mini detail. Is 2 1/2 hours normal? Lol. I wash everything including the fender liners etc.

Never really timed myself but I did today since I was off. :)

I'm usually 1-1/2 hours start to finish. I don't get all bogged down in tiny details, though. Just a thorough 2-bucket wash, blow dry with the backpack blower, a towel finish, and spray the tires. Then 15 minutes of circling the truck, wiping off the damn drips that come out of the mirrors, door handles, and bed rail caps...

Well normal wash is 1 1/2 to 2 hours, detailed is 2 to 2 1/2 hours. But those washes aren't going to happen anytime soon.

Sadly, yes...I'm about 3 hours start to finish.
I miss being able to take it through the auto wash. Dark vehicles and ceramic coat, two things I'm never doing again.

I'm lazy so I usually just pay for a hand wash. If I do it myself, I'll do one of those self wash spray bays. Blast it with soap, blast it with water, then wipe dry with P&S beadmaker spray wax/sealant (about 15-20 mins total) then down the road.

Doesn't keep it looking perfect, but it's still cleaner than 95% of the vehicles on the road.

My truck is also white, so it's much easier for me to get by with this half-assed care regimen.

My biggest thing is interior- that is always SPOTLESS. I don't have 1 piece of clutter. I'm literally crazy to the point I bring takeout food home in the bed because I don't want odors in the cab permeating into the fabrics 😂😂.

One time my wife opened a small bag of pretzels in there...almost divorced her.

We are dealing with that right now.

She put some “air freshener “ in the damn truck and that’s where we are 🤣.

I was like wtf?

Ugh

My wife is awesome…we are just different 😊

I guess I'm different......I treat mine like a truck. Have yet to hand wash it, take it through a drive-thru carwash at least weekly and run it through twice (once for tire shine, second time to wash off the excess) then I'll use the air guns there to blow our the nooks and crannies followed with a damp towel dry and vacuum then down the road. I did spend about 45 minutes on Thanksgiving Day buffing/polishing out a scuff my daughter or one of the neighborhood kids left on my passenger rear fender but so far that's the extent of my "detailing" routine. I do have all the stuff to do paint correction....clay bar, cutting wax, finishing wax, polish, paint sealant, ceramic and a decent Torx polisher......just haven't taken the time to actually get off my ass and do it. I have a light scuff from backing my boat trailer down the ramp a few months ago that I need to deal with too. Just isn't enough time in the day.

I do try to minimize clutter in my truck though. Everything has a place and it damn well better be in it! I do occasionally eat in it and I allow my kids to have drinks in it. My big thing so far though is that I won't drive with the windows down.....not ready to blow out that new truck smell. Did the same thing with my '24 Sierra and it still smelled new after a year when I traded it in.

I did the same things yesterday then rain in Katy TX
