Stupid, I hate stuff like that. Like when Toyota started charging for remote start. I guess I can’t complain since my stupid TRX needs a subscription to unlock the doors with my phone.

Really? I’ve never paid for any subscription, and I can lock/unlock my TRX with the app. Can’t remote start it though (at least not either the Ram app).

Glad I purchased the “round wheel” subscription, the improved ride quality over the square wheels is significant…smooth as a silk.

Once my 3 months were up I couldn’t lock/unlock my RHO through the app. Had to drop it off in a somewhat sketch area for ceramic coating the night before my appointment, only way for me to lock the keys in it through the app was to subscribe.

Could also be user error on my end as I find the app not the best but I do use the hell out of remote start through my phone before leaving my office.

why do I have equipment in my truck that I can't use without a subscription??? Bad move you greedy Fs!!!! I was looking forward to try out the ADA but I'm not subscribing and it's all or nothing? No conventional cruise control no lane keep assist Kiss my A#%!!! I live in the country and may want to use it a couple of times a year Not a Happy Customer.

lol.. some of yall make me laugh.. you get the service for 3 years! if you choose at that point not to extend you still have the adaptive cruise control it will work just find you will just lose the hands free driving!!

the reason for the subscription is for safety the maps get constantly upgraded and changed. as roads change and need to be updated that iformation also needs to be updated so you don't crash into a guard rail in a new construction area. its a protection for you and stelantis so you don't sue them when you wreck your truck becasue your a cheap ass.

Remote start should have stopped after 3 months as well !! I know mine did and Im pissed !!!

Yeah it probably did but I wasn’t using it through the app much over the summer so I don’t remember.

Annoying to have to subscribe but I do enjoy being able to start it from basically wherever with the app in the winter. Chalk me up as another sucker paying the monthly fee!

Only thing on a 3 month trial is the WiFi plus pack, which includes the remote start from the app.

I literally provided the link straight to the website that shows you that page once you setup/login to your account. If you can’t get it to work, I highly recommend you stop by a competent dealership and have them help you get it straightened out. It's not luck... It's 3 years. If you're being told or seeing otherwise on your truck, someone or something is lying to you.

I apparently got bad info and won't say from who but they are a popular YouTuber... but it is a 3 year trial for the ADA which I will try for free but have very little use for it and less faith in. I found the lane keep assist button lol. I'm not signing up for the Uconnect app it's a privacy nightmare I naively and did it on my Wrangler and got constant updates for fuel level, mileage and location at the dealership I traded it into for the longest time. Don’t forget to tell Stellantis not to sell your data they are collecting from you to third parties.
