What is this uconnect subscription to have cruise control garbage?

ADA works pretty good. I've got about 6K with it on while cruising interstates so far. It keeps things nice and steady and even handles lane switches pretty well.

It's also quick to notify you when you're not looking at the road or if there's an issue with it. Whole bunch of seat rumbles and some beeps. That's also it's biggest downfall, imo. The face detection/attention timer can be a bit fickle and/or quick to notify you. It'll even turn yellow and start with the warnings if you look down at the Guage cluster for too long (too long = about 4-5 seconds). Not long hardly enough to switch to a different dash screen or change the radio station or look at the map on the center screen. It can also have issues with sunglasses. Usually it's fine, but if the sun angle is just right and reflects off your glasses perfectly it can trip it into assuming you are not looking at the road even if you are. Speaking of sun angle... Driving straight into it in the morning can blind the whole system and take it offline. Comes back just fine when the sun gets high enough or the road angles away from it enough.

Overall I find it super handy, even though I live in Rural SD and am over 70 miles from the closest supported road. Been having to do a lot of round trips on I-29 lately, though, so getting lots of miles testing the system. 🀘
