I've been happy with my MY25 RHO. Mechanically, it's been trouble free after 15,000 miles. But my experience has been marred by various random electronic gremlins. Since my last TCM issue and optimizing the batteries with a NOCO charger it's been pretty good, but just last week my cruise control decided to stop working (WTF?). After a restart it worked, but jeebus. I had a CAT6 and removed it, suspecting that it might have precipitated the TCM problem. I'll throw it back on soon, but right now I appreciate the reliability. I guess an electronic module replacement is better than munching a transmission but all the little things start to accumulate into distrust.
My lease will be up in about a year and half and I'm not 100% about either keeping it or getting a new one now that the 10-year warranty is gone, so I will be looking at options. Build quality for new TRX's appears to be improved over the early RHO's, but I don't have data to back it up, just anecdotes. I've heard the Raptor R has it's own share of electronic issues, and given the choice between the EcoBoost Raptor and the RHO, I'll stick with the devil I know - RAM.
With the debut of the Toyota TRD Hammer, I'm inclined to take a serious look at it. Toyota's had it's problems with its twin turbo V6, but I believe they are getting things under control. Time will tell between now and when my lease expires. They've run a Hammer-like pickup in the Mint 400 and it won. If they come to market with it, I expect it will have less horsepower than the RHO and cost more, but I expect a significant amount of aftermarket and factory support for performance improvements.

If RAM had better quality, I wouldn't even think of it. But here we are...
