2026 RAM RHO Order/Schedule/Build Thread

So my dealer says the build date is scheduled for Dec 9 but I am not yet in production according to the order website. Which one is more accurate?

I am pretty much on the same dates as you so I am hoping mine is also scheduled soon.

"going into production" and "build date" are roughly the same date. It only takes about 1 day to build the truck.

Well…overnight my “Estimated Delivery” went from Dec 18, to TBD. So I’m either screwed, or the truck has already been shipped & is sitting at the dealer!

It is...kinda.
Trucks generally go from Frame to Paint to Trim within a 24-hour period. After that, it's "built" and ships off of the factory floor (which is when the build sheet is produced). In the older FCA terminology, that's called the "estimated ship date" that dealers see in their system. But it hasn't yet left the factory property at this point. All RHOs make a second stop at the Body Vendor to install accessories and graphics (and since all RHO's get the intake scoop decal, all RHO's go there even if there are no other accessories being installed). Then final inspection, then it's released from the factory and invoiced (which is when the window sticker comes out).
A simple truck, like a base Bighorn, can fly through production and be released in the same day. More complicated trucks can take longer. And any truck can get caught up in a queue for the body vendor, or fail inspection(s) and get stuck waiting for repairs. So there's really no telling what will happen after it is "built".
 
Mine was sitting in a rail yard in Indiana taking the circuitous route to Oregon.
 
Forget who posted this but thank you for the dev tool sniping. I created a monitor of this http request with a chrome plugin distill. So basically this call returns json of the Ram Tracker page. If anything changes it tells me in an email, so I have stopped hounding the site directly. Something odd I observed and only if I was lucky to hit the page would I have ever seen this.

I monitor every 10 minutes, and between one small window of time. The dealer section when from my dealer, to the the Marshaling center. It did it within 10 minutes and went back to my dealer again. So something only in monitoring it this ridiculously would have caught.

My Estimated Delivery Date on the Ram Tracker said “12/1” originally, but then changed to “TBD” this morning, so I was worried that an unexpected delay of some sort occurred… but turns out that it just pulled up onto the lot this morning and will be PDI’d this afternoon!

Ive been tempering my expectations based on everything else Id been hearing but she’s actually finally here! Ordered 9/1 with Delivery date of 12/1 today… 3 months on the dot! 🙌🏼
