2027 Ram RHO rumors

Why do you dislike the AWD?
The constant feeling of mechanical drag. My RHO drives like someone left the parking brake on - or like an ev in regen mode. I attribute this to the mechanical linkage to the AWD. Maybe its unrelated, but I don't recall that same constant drag feeling in trucks with a 2H setting.

I have a 2025 RHO, love it. Gremlins seems to be all worked out. After seeing what I think is Lunar Grey on the Rumble Bee, I am really hopeful that Lunar Grey is a color for 2027 on the RHO. Iโ€™m ready to put that order in.

Would be cool.

Isn't it about time we hear what changes there will be and what colors will be available?

I'll be ordering summer/early fall.

Info are far and few here. Hopefully we can get some tidbits by next month.

Earlier posts here say the 2026 window doesn't officially close until May 31.

...probaby won't get much until June 01, 2026 or greater...

No passenger screen would be a nice upgrade!

What Iโ€™d really love to see, but also wonโ€™t happen, is to drop the $10k L1 package and let some of the things be ala carte. I got it primarily to have a sunroof. $10k is a pretty significant chunk of change for some features buyers donโ€™t want or need for.

Oh, and letโ€™s just speculate that the 2027 gets an upgraded exhaust note or active exhaust valving. That would be cool!

And just for grins, Iโ€™m going to wager they come out with a Mopar tuner.

Any idea when weโ€™ll have more solid code guide for 2027?
Tuner would definitely be nice.

Is the window open yet?

Finally decided to hunt for the 2027 pilot vehicle build sheets. Found 'em!

Still taking a look to see what's different, but one of the first things I noticed is that they've deleted the "Front Passenger Interactive Display" from the Level 1's.
The Limiteds and Tungstens still have them, but the RHO's do not.

Another change, too soon to tell what it really means (all of the 2027 build sheets I've found so far are Level 1):
  • "Surround View Camera System" is now listed in the "Standard Equipment" section
Could just be listed in the wrong section. Or it could mean that all RHO's will now have it.

Honestly for upper trim levels including the RHO I think that feature should be standard.

Interesting!!

We have used our interactive display just a couple times.

If they have a glove box again, Iโ€™ll be swapping it out. Not sure if the level 1 will have any carbon fiber trim on the glove box.

Does that build sheet show 2027 colors for the RHO?

There are currently only 5 RHO build sheets.
1 Forged Blue
1 Silver Zynith
2 Serrano Green
1 Molten Red
Nothing in the build sheets lists other available colors. I haven't seen or heard of any new colors for the 2027 RHO, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

I also found 18 build sheets for 2027 SRT TRX's. Plus another 78 build sheets for other trims (Limiteds, Tungstens, Rebels, Laramies, Bighorns, etc.).

Would be cool to see more engine options fit the RHO like they did with the Rumple bee. I know the 6.4 has less power, but a N/A option for the TRX or RHO would be a sweet spot for most.

I wish I knew the VIN coding (digits 4-8) for the Rumblebee.
SRFUP is the RHO
SRFU9 is the TRX
But since this is a quad cab, 5-7 bed, wide body, thereโ€™s no previous history. So itโ€™s a big guess. When I get some spare time, I might run all possible scenarios on the missing build sheet serial numbers and see if I get lucky. Sure would be nice to figure it out.

I always thought the 6.4 was the right motor for a direct Raptor competitor, but, after seeing the numbers the 6.4 Rumble Bee is putting out, I'd be hard pressed to ditch the Hurricane for a 6.4. Per the numbers provided a 6.4 RB is .5 seconds slower to 60 mph than the RHO, and that's with the RB being set up as a street truck and the RHO rolling on heavy 35" tires. Drop a 6.4 in an RHO and I'd bet that gap jumps closer to a full second slower.
