37” Debate - brand, size, weight etc…

Sooooo I ordered a set of 1.6" Eibach springs from @Nick797. I think I'm going to swap out my Foutz 2" collar and put my OEM ride height sensors back on and see how she rides. With that being said, it's also time for some new tires. After 20,000 miles the OEM tires are pretty worn out. I was just going to get another set of 35's but I think I want to try 37's. I see a lot of you have had success running the 37's in stock form, as well as leveled. Buuuut has anyone done any high speed, big bump, jumps, with only a 1.6" level and 37's?

I do a fair bit of offroad and I'd hate to get some rubbing and have to go back down to a 35. I do have aftermarket 18" wheels with 0 offset. I'm leaning towards the MT baja or the BFG K03's

Also, has anyone gone from the bottom mount collar like Foutz kit to a spring kit?View attachment 27135
wheel offset is the true reason for rubbing at 37, I think.

That’s pretty significant. You’re talking about 21 pound increase per corner. It will affect every aspect acceleration, braking, cornering, ride quality. Opinions very but every pound added to the wheel is worth 5 to 8 pounds anywhere else. Kind of like carrying anywhere from an additional 400 to 700 pounds.
So it would be the same as letting my ex gf ride in the front seat?

10 light years later… It’s obvious that common sense would dictate you shouldn’t run 22” on an off-road performance truck in the first place, however I never made a blanket statement, all my specs were posted regarding my specific setup which is what the conversation was regarding. Well shit, there’s 2 min of my life I won’t get back 😂 should I have specified that you shouldn’t run 22” spinner’s either, fuck me. View attachment 27180

WOW!! You are really dense!! It wasn't about 22" wheels! It was about the statment you made! I don't care about your specs. I was simplly replying to your words!

No balancing issues whatsoever. Ride quality feels nearly identical to stock. There might be a slight increase in steering and braking effort, but it’s very minor. I had the wheel powder coated satin black and made the ring a dark gunmetal for contrast.

Here are a few more pics I honestly love the fitment stock which I thought I wouldn’t so I probably won’t be adding springs anytime soon.
Was these the 6ply ko3?

It’s this exact tire not sure the ply.

I had a 2024 Silverado ZR2 and hated the bulldog stance, so I added a leveling kit, 35s and wheel spacers. Never again. The negative effect on the overall ride and handling just wasn’t worth it.

The RHO definitely has enough power to handle 37s, but based on that experience, I’m not interested in sacrificing the factory ride, handling and long-term reliability for a truck that will spend most of its time on the street. For me, a mild RHO-specific level with the factory tires is the better setup.

Even off-road, the RHO already has plenty of ground clearance and suspension travel. If I ever decided to run 37s, I’d want a properly engineered RHO suspension setup, not just a basic leveling spacer.

No sir. Just had springs put on and an alignment
Thank you for the info. I started going down a rabbit hole on doing 1.6s where all the info was you need the sensor link, take it to dealership for recalibration of suspension to zero it out, and of course alignment.

Maybe I'll add them to my todo list

I think if you go the 2.7's on the front you have to relocate the sensors

I did 2.7 in the front and 1.5 in the back. I absolutely love the way it looks. My dealership recalibrated and set back to zero at no cost to me. The truck did throw faults after installing the springs. Zona motorsports ride height sensor correction kit is a must going over 2 inches. I have about 3/4 inch difference from front to back.
