37” Debate - brand, size, weight etc…

Installed today.
Method MR709 bead grip 18x9 +12 offset
Toyo OC R/T Trail 37x12.50x18 E rated Q speed rated
All stock suspension, no rub at full lock w/ closest to contact in the front around 1” to spare between the plastic fender liner. Rear has zero issues.
Looks fairly level, tires don’t look skinny, e rated didn’t make huge difference just slightly stiffer, very slightly a bit more sluggish off the line but only when driving conservatively. Hit a dip at speed no rubbing will update once off roaded. All in all very happy. Still figuring out what to do with the spare.View attachment 26727View attachment 26728View attachment 26729View attachment 26730View attachment 26731View attachment 26737
Those methods are incredible, with that offset do the wheels/tires stick out any or is it a factory type fit? I'll be upgrading my oem wheels and do not want a wheel/tire combo that sticks out beyond the factory look.

That's a great-looking ride! I have the twin, but I don't have the 37s. I'm in the process of getting the Eibach 1.6-inch front leveling kit and would be curious to know how much height your truck gained with the 37s. I want to continue parking my truck in the garage, and I'm concerned that the 37s might raise it too much, making it difficult to fit.

Also, what did you do with the tow hooks? They look good! Did you powder coat them or use another finish?
For reference, I gained 1.25" of height with the 37s over the stock tires.

What's your reason for the 1.6 front level, eliminating the factory rake? There are plenty of people running that lift and tire size that should be able to give you a more precise number.

I'm not a fan of the "rake"; my garage door is right at 7'5 when opened. I would think that is plenty of room to drive in and out without any issues. I will make a post to see what guys are seeing with the level kit/37s.

Awesome any side photos to see the aggressiveness ?

Just added some photos, the poke still looks factory going from a +19 offset to +12 is maybe 1/4” difference. I don’t like a wide stance either.

That's perfect! It's exactly the look I’m going for. I appreciate it!

Thanks, yes I powder coated the tow hooks and wheels they were too bright for my liking

Um any time you end up with tires that cant get out of wet grass..lame…😂

Imo, the factory diameter is spot on, always more sidewalk than less.

Little sidewall is “better” for sports cars, gay for trucks. I added sidewall for performance and comfort on CARS.

Why would you reduce it for trucks? Lame.

Huh? A more aggressive Hybrid trail RT is less capable than the factory AT? I'm no expert here (doing the math in my head) but I’m pretty sure a 37” has more “sidewalk” than a 35 bud, not sure what you’re talking about being “reduced”. I’m glad you posted a picture of your convertible Miata though, gives much better context to your post, I’m sure your bf loves having his hair blow in the wind. 😂

Dude I was agreeing with you …and your meme. Your truck looks good but now you’re attacking me? You sound a little insecure.

Man up.

Dude maybe re read your comment or what your replying to, my meme is for DTS saying to run 40’s… nobody is saying anything about reduced sidewall. I’m only busting balls. Don’t be so sensitive.

That’s pretty significant. You’re talking about 21 pound increase per corner. It will affect every aspect acceleration, braking, cornering, ride quality. Opinions very but every pound added to the wheel is worth 5 to 8 pounds anywhere else. Kind of like carrying anywhere from an additional 400 to

interested in running 37’s on my RHO, mainly for the look, mall crawler and daily driver…without sacrificing too much performance, fuel mileage, comfort or noise…Research from forums say…2-3 mpg lost and that a 37/13.5 on stock wheels and suspension will fit but I still find myself debating leveling the front for look rogue perch bottom only…My current tire choice is Toyo Open country RT Pro but at 37/13.5 on stock wheels rolling weight will increase from 94 to 115 per corner. Is this weight gain significantly noticeable? will my ride charge? Any pics, advice, recommendations or first hand experience on increased noise, PERFORMANCE or mpg loss would be greatly appreciated.
I agree that the weight is going to be something youll notice. If its all for show then doesn't really matter. As for the noise the AT market has come a long way. I think the wrangler tires are some of the worst for noise. I would image the Toyo or Nitto, ext would be at the very least be equal in noise but cant confirm that. Just know the wranglers are awful once they start to wear a little.

The RT Trail toyos are a bit quieter than the stock wranglers for sure.

Actually your statement isn't true at all. if its a 35 or 37 has nothing to do with the sidewall! if you go form an 18" wheel on 35's and go to a 22' wheel on 37's you will have alot less sidewall!

Thanks captain obvious, but nobody runs 22”s on an off-road truck holmes.
