Another one bites the dust

Update:

New shifter installed. Shifter online! Now 2 more modules are offline and they see battery draw. What a shit show. And ram cares sucks ass too.
After all the shit you been through to get this truck, this "NEW" truck and then to have this happen.
And it just seems like Ram doesn't care or even acknowledge their issues or the inconvenience to the customers spending their hard earned money.

I’m so annoyed. My ram cares rep is just the worst. Says in EVERY email that she wasn’t able to reach me by phone and yet has never called me 🤣. She has both of my cell numbers that I answer 100% of the time (unless it’s past 9:45pm). Asked for a rental in my 1st email to them and she said Friday she didn’t know I needed a rental. 🙄. As for the repair my dealership is working on it. I’m making sure they have a star case opened. It’s like when they replace 1 thing other things go wonky.

@RamSeemsToCare
They last time I talked to ram cares on here they didn’t do anything but tell my rep to contact me. Oh and they confirmed my phone number that my rep can’t seem to reach me on 🙄

Hannah and Kori are here to relay the information to the right people...they are doing what they're supposed to. I know we poke fun at them a bit, but they have been great so far, and it's not their fault. It seems to be people farther up the chain that are dropping the ball.

Fair enough. That being said I’m not sure what they can do for me in this case then.

You might want to follow up with them and ask who they could escalate the issues to...let them know whomever you've been talking to hasn't been doing anything.

Potential RHO buyer here. Concerning that the 2026 models still seem to be unreliable. What's surprising to me is that this error message is not just seen on Rams. I own a 2024 Dodge Charger EV. Mine has been fine, but the Charger has had its own share of software problems. Including the exact same message that the OP posted. So it seems the new electrical architecture they introduced a few years ago is the culprit, not so much the individual make/model.

I see the mention, @Mikey Swift!

We have since responded to your private messages as well, @jdkirk88! Hoping to address your concerns and continue our conversation.

I wouldn't say 'unreliable'. A decent amount of minor glitches and anomalies, yes...but those usually resolve themselves or are rectified with battery replacement, or something easy. The number of people with a flat-out unusable truck is extremely low.

Update:

take note of this because I think it will help a lot of you that have these random gremlins. They found a loose ground wire in the rear of the cab. Once it was tightened up my codes cleared and all modules came online. They are monitoring batteries to ensure there is 0 drain over the next couple days and I’m hoping I’ll be good to go. Looks like they had to do intricate detail testing to find the issue.

That is pretty important. From reading / lurking here as I debate buying one of these, if we could collectively locate the ground points from a wiring diagram we could potentially just fix these problems ourselves. From everything I've read, the randomness of the issues and the failure of all the 'parts swapping', it would seem to point to bad base connections, bad grounds and / or even crossed connections from them coming loose and contacting adjacent circuit wiring.

Wow- that's just straight build quality control right there. Completely avoidable. Glad you're fixed up, though.
