Can anyone who has installed this already chime in? Mine is sitting in the garage waiting on me to install, but I HATE drone and would rather only do this once. Just curious how much drone there is when cruising at highway speeds. Thanks!

I'd love to hear both the trail and the extreme on the highway from in the cabin... because even with stock exhaust you can hear around 2k rpms there is gonna be a drone.

The only way this is going to be useful is if we get a before and after video from someone. Everything else is going to be subjective feedback and/or video/measurement without comparison.

I'd think right around that 2k-2.2k is gonna be that 70-75mph range on the highway, probably the sweet spot for cruising

I might be wanting the trail... just can't figure out if I want to wait for corsa and awe to get theirs done to compare (the price of mrt is going to be just... better). Also why on earth is your mpg tracker deal on the right side?? Mine must be broken, only hangs out on the left side of the circle

We’re still putting together the full sound clips and comparison video, but in the meantime... here’s the owner’s raw first reaction right after firing it up for the first time.

fuck yeah. You guys rock. ordering extreme once my truck gets delivered. Cant wait to see the video! Seriously thanks for being awesome MRT, very few companies care about their customers like you guys do. Plus i love that you give all of us in the forum what we want to see and ask for! Stoked to get the extreme on my truck.

Just dropped the new video from this morning’s install. This RHO left the dealer yesterday, showed up at MRT this morning with only 180 miles on it, and rolled straight into the shop for our Extreme Mid Pipe.

The owner gave us the green light to get some aggressive takeoffs, so I put together a good variety of clips for you all:

• Cold start
• Outside revs and throttle hits
• In-cabin cruising and light pulls

Quick heads-up: We did have a technical issue—our internal mic cut out during the drive-bys, so this video doesn’t have the same matched 1:1 internal/external audio like we got in the Trail Rated video. That said, the clips still give a clear feel for how aggressive this system sounds outside and inside the truck. We’ve got another Extreme Mid Pipe install lined up for Monday, and we’re planning to push that one even harder—more aggressive pulls and 1:1 External and internal comparisons.
