Down pipes!!!!

Here’s a quick video I put together over the weekend showcasing how our high-flow downpipes impact the exhaust note.
This includes warm start-up, idle, a few revs, launch, and drive-bys to give you a real-world sense of how it all comes together.

I reinstalled the Vibrant resonators on each exhaust pipe.

Sounding great man! At some point I need to hear this beast in person!

Which Vibrant resonators were used?

Hey everyone,

I'm almost done making the first set of downpipes that I'll be testing on my truck before I move onto production. I'm using GESI catalytic converter that are 49 state legal, sorry California people, Las Vegas isn't a far drive for y'all though. These are high flow, rated to handle 500hp per catalytic, so the system will be capable of supporting up to 1000hp. I honestly would move to catless downpipes once I got nearly 750-800hp mark. I'll be listing then at $1950 for the set, the catalytic converter are the biggest portion that contribute to the cost. Also the flanges are not an off the shelf part, so I'm having a friend who owns a CNC shop in California make them for me. When I launch them, I'll have a pre-order discount. I've also requested to become a vendor for the forum and I'm waiting to hear back. View attachment 14707
If us CA folks can find a California-approved CAT, (I'm an analyst, give me the dimensions/specs and I'll find it), would that be an option?

Absolutely!!

DM me the specs of the needed CATS, and I'll do some research.

Magnaflow has a grip of CA-Compliant CATS...

Yeah, I saw those but they aren't high flow cats. They need to be 400cpsi cats that can support at the minimum 500hp each. They cant be longer than 6".

Any drone heard inside the cab? I'm very interested in the performance gains... Are you running the stock tune ?

It actually isn’t bad at all with the OEM exhaust, but I can’t really say how it would sound if paired with other brands’ cat backs.

I put about seven thousand miles on the stock tune before adding the Cat6, and so far I’m about one thousand miles in with no issues, aside from driving it harder now, haha.

Check out the video I posted, there’s a clip of a launch from the interior perspective.

The sound clip is awesome, also looking at the CAT6 tune in the future

I’m ready to hear downpipes paired with an aftermarket exhaust. Should be sick

My truck runs an exhaust setup similar to the AWE 0FG system with the only change being the resonators I added.

A member here has offered their truck that currently has the MagnaFlow Speq exhaust to be paired with my downpipes.

Look forward to hearing it!
