Has anyone heard rumors/updates on when Borla may release their RHO Atak system? Would seem they wouldn't want to be too far behind if Corsa is getting ready to release theirs? I have a Borla Atak cat-back system I installed on my C7 Grand Sport and has a great sound....of course that's a V8. Can't expect the same from the I6, but seeing Corsa and Borla's take on things will be interesting.

The last I reached out was end of December and was told, either end of the year (which didn't happen) or either by January or February.

So the sound of the SPEQ is not raspy, but the drone was noticeably loud in the cabin, but again that is also with the valve delete. Some may like it, but it was a bit much for me. What’s great about the XMOD is that you have options in the kit. I moved to the street setup and it’s perfect now. Overall the system is pretty good for a flat six.

Even with the valves there is good amount of drone between 70 and 80 mph

I doubt it but Borla is big on having no drone. That might be their niche on theirs being different. Everyone sounds the same and they all have drone.

Just got Flowmaster FX installed today because @Mikey Swift said so. Sounds killer over stock no sound clips because I fail. Also, @Vara1898 your exhaust sounded awesome today when you took off from the light AWE if i remember?

My neighbors already hate me....71 C10 with an angry LS swap and Triumph SPEED TRIPLE with race exhaust...they will be thankful when I start my RHO regardless of what exhaust is on it.

I didn't go with Borla's s-type or attack on my C10, because of my neighbors, but did use their Pro XS mufflers due to their mildness at startup, but fire breathing snarl when I get on it. The truth is they are pretty loud regardless. They were also touted not to drone, but that is bullshit...they do some...like most.

I will be super curious to here feedback on this system from RHO owners. I will likely leave mine stock for awhile after I get it, but we will see...those are typically "famous last words".

I was looking for just a little deeper tone not louder. I've had loud exhaust for 25+ years and when I got my RHO and now driving it for 3 months I like the quiet now. I guess call me old now

if I want loud i get on my Harley Road Glide that wakes the neighbors more than this truck could every try. It would be nice to have an exhaust with a Tuned exhaust note and no Rasp. Its a 6-cyl so you can only expect so much but ive heard some killer exhausts on alot of 6-cyl engines.

Not old...just seasoned! And I hear ya (no pun intended) sometimes it is just nice to cruise in the calm and quiet...

Wow, Borla’s offering is terrible in my mind, sounds no different than others. I really don’t understand why these very capable companies can’t coax a better sound out of these engines. The MRT Trail Rated is the best option for me at the moment but I keep hoping something better will be released.

Maybe Corsa will deliver but I feel like downpipes might be inevitable for me at this point if any come out that improve things. But we’re 2.5 years into this thing! Where are they?!

I pulled the trigger on a MRT trail rated setup - I’ll report back after my truck is delivered and we have it installed
