First problem... brake pedal and shifter noise

I also saw on the build ram site they talk about smartphone as a key but only list Apple. I'm not a Apple fan and have a Samsung 22 Ultra. Will it work with mine? Anyone confirm that Samsung will work as phone as a key?
This function is not available for any phone yet.

yea somewhere on the string we posted a service bulletin confirming it hasnt released yet for iOS or Android (even though the documentation outlines how to enable it) ... only the NFC card is enabled today.

I’m having the same noise coming from my shifter when I’m in park (popping sound). Curious what the resolution was for the OP and if the dealer was able to resolve.

First problem has shown up for the RHO! 180 miles on it, was taking my kids to their after-school activities and noticed when I lightly press the brake pedal I get a loud rattle noise, and at the same time the shifter clunks! If I press the pedal hard it just clunks, but light pressure adds the rattle noise! Any ideas?

I just noticed I get that same damn noise when the vehicle is in park and I push the brake pedal. So weird. That’s the least of my issues though lol

It's in there right now! I'll keep you guys posted

I noticed some of these sounds too, but it almost sounds like it’s trying to put the parking brake on or something. I hear a little bit of electronic noises by the pedals and the cluster every time I park. I know there’s a setting to have it put the parking brake on every time the trucks turned off, but I believe mine is off.

Truck is home, they found communication errors with the brake module... reset and calibrated, now we wait and see if it comes back, if it does module will need replacement. Also got the truck aligned, it was described to me as "way off"

Mine goes in for all its issues on Monday.

I know this issue was a while ago, have you had any more problems with this? Was the dealer able to resolve it? I noticed that my RHO does the same thing, it feels like there is play in the brake pedal and I can feel a vibration in the shifter handle.

May have to keep it hooked up to a charger for a while or hooked up to another running vehicle for a good 5 to 10 mins
This, you need to have it hooked up for about 10-15 minutes then try starting the car. That is about how long it took when my batteries died.

Same problem just started. 1k miles. push brake pedal makes a noise, and I can fell the shifter knock when in park. Brake travel seems to be soft and long now. What was the end result for the fix. New Brake Module? We didn't really get a full conclusion. Be nice to see the work order to help us all.

I have the exact same issue, and it seems to show itself when the truck is exposed to cold weather. I have my truck in a heated shop and when I pull it out it doesn't make the noise but soon after driving in cold weather (usually -8C or colder) the noise gets more obvious. It seems like it's coming from the brake master cylinder and after showing the tech at Dodge he agrees, we have a new one on order, and they assure me the brakes will be fine for now. As for the shifter noise I find it is much more noticeable when it's in park to the point you can feel it as well. It seems like a solenoid that engages when the brakes are pressed that allows you to shift into drive. I'm not worried about this as much.

Sorry just saw this, my truck has been doing the noise again all winter this year. Not a dang clue what it is, and my dealership is anything but helpful

I will be getting the brake master cylinder replaced on Monday here. I will report on this if it fixes the issue.

It definitely has something to do with the cold though... as it didn't make a peep all summer long, which made me think it was all good... nope!

let us know.. I was supposed to get brake booster or mc replaced too, was waiting for it to come and it just fizzled.. I never got an answer from dealership what happened.. so it still makes that horrible sound and issues not fixed, like most of the issues I have with truck

I will for sure report, and yes I can confirm that the cold weather is the triggering factor.

doesn't apply to me, got the truck in summer in Florida and already made the noise

Might not be the same? Idk, mine only does it below freezing and it's way more prominent when the truck is also cold

Well I have good news boys, I've had the shop replace the brake master cylinder and the noise is now gone. I had to wait a week for it to get cold enough to verify. Usually the issues would start at -8C and it went to -20C lastnight, which is where it would be even more noticeable everytime I would lightly touch the brakes. Could not recreate the sound, so hopefully this is the fix.
