So it hit 510 HP on the dash, what HP was on uconnect screen? As promised here is a video and photo.
I’m curious what my G-TECH would show.

This was my result, clearly the two interfaces report differently. RAM EngineeringAs promised here is a video and photo.

Dang. 540hp confirmed this morning. Hopefully you get sorted out soon brotherOk…truck back from service…Ram acknowledges the 400 HP peak on the Performance Pages…per Ram, the truck “runs fine”, so keep driving it. Advisor stated it may or may not be producing the advertised HP. They don’t know.
The latest “misfires” software update is the likely culprit. No fix at this time. Maybe in a future release.
Hmmm. It was hot here yesterday & I couldn’t get the HP meter near 400 HP. I expect lower power in extreme heat. So, it appears the gage does more than read RPM & throttle position. It obviously uses a more complex algorithm of input parameters.
DittoHaving come from a Hemi with about 400hp to the RHO with 540hp… the difference is substantial. I just can’t imagine something so drastic changed and you wouldn’t immediately feel it. I’m 100% convinced this is purely software related.
It’s just been reported that a 2025 RHO with software limited top speed of 98 MPH will stay 98 MPH.
Hmmm…so a software update to prevent misfires (saving the CATs from melting) has also limited top speed, yet has no impact on engine output, yet the Ram supplied HP meter is showing 400+/- HP peak?
Very odd…
Seems to me RAM is about to join a lawsuit......Dont worry RAM joined NASCAR
I’m in Phoenix and it’s dumb hot most days. Truck doesn’t seem to care. But I’m sure it would to protect itself if needed.Does anyone know if the truck pulls power based on ambient outside temp that is obviously very incorrect? I’m guessing that’s not the case but I am concerned that even on the dash i’m 100hp short of 540. And on center screen I’m maybe 320 max at wot.
It got up to 94 today. Started it let it warm up then ripped it multiple times trying to get hp on dash to go to what others have seen around 540. Not close and all temp gauges were completely fine. I don’t understand.I’m in Phoenix and it’s dumb hot most days. Truck doesn’t seem to care. But I’m sure it would to protect itself if needed.
You might have an actual issueIt got up to 94 today. Started it let it warm up then ripped it multiple times trying to get hp on dash to go to what others have seen around 540. Not close and all temp gauges were completely fine. I don’t understand.
Yeah I really hope not I’m making a 1500 mile trip in 10 days.. all these issues are making me nervous for this tripYou might have an actual issue![]()
If your “seat of the pants” dyno feels ok and no check engine lights, I’d say run it. I also just did a 1500 mile road trip last week. Check engine light came on the day before we left for rich condition on both banks for the 3rd time. I just had the dealer reset and we jammed out. The CEL’s don’t even surprise me anymore.
