Flash update, 400hp

I can confirm the drivers gauge cluster shows proper HP. I did a light pull and shifted at 5k rpm and it was approaching 530hp before shifting, while the big screen showed around 395hp. Just think the system needs an update. From what I hear there’s an update coming next month? The torque is very close on both tho.

Wow that's crazy if they actually did that and the truck is no longer getting the full 540hp and correct mapping. Id be canceling my order and will buy a lightly used trx for me. Hope they get some definitive answers because I'd prefer an RHO but not an rho lite.
Have you driven an HO Hurricane equipped Ram?

If you are accustomed to the more “relaxed vibe” of a V8 engine, get the TRX.

If you have to have brand-new and/or don’t mind a higher revving engine (it’s only 3L, as opposed to 6.2L), the RHO is comfortable, capable & loaded with useful features.

Thanks!

I think monthly software updates are going to be the “norm” for the foreseeable future.

I have not went on a long trip of over 100 miles on the freeway yet but expect when I do it will get about 21 to 22. I'm happy with that if it does, considering I never cared about the MPG when I bought it or any of the other Rams I have had. But today I hit 104mph on a back 4 lane road and that was it.....the governor kicked in and just sat there. What a crap thin g to do to us buying these high-priced HO output motors to be limited to 104 MPH!! That just sucks!! Not like I run over a 100 mph all the time or even very frequently, but if I want to..... Some dweeb at FCA has no right to limit my speed of what they think it should be.
I just did a 1500 mile trip. 13.7 mph is the best it will do. That was 90% freeway ranging from 60mph and 80mph

Keep in mind I bought the Tungsten at the last minute and not the RHO and I agree with your opinion still. Maybe they Limited the Tungsten to 104 MPH and the RHO to 118 MPH? Either way, it's BS because we should not have limit set on HO Trims or any Trims in my opinion. My Hell cat has no Limit as far as 143MPH with me letting off it one time since I have had it, 2021.
RHO is 118 and other trims are 104

Are comparing a Hellcat sedan to the RHO for mph? The RHO has limit purely because of the 35” tires.. it’s not “BS” at all, it’s the tires rating.

I haven't but I've had many other performance vehicles from v8 to twin turbos and I always prefer the turbos. Nothing like a nice cruise in a turbo car in a crisp fall day.

I want the rho for better fuel range and I just sold my wrangler 392. Sick of the sound and want something smoother and more refined. Getting older lol anyway the RHO if it works as advertised 540hp 118 top speed and overall a badass truck is perfect for my needs. Just hope either A all this bullshit gets sorted out by the factory or B the aftermarket catches up and we get some great shops that know how to modify and work on this platform. I plan to keep the next truck purchase long term.

How many of you have had SW updates? Ive had zero since I got it in April. Not that I think any are needed, but just curious. About to turn 7k miles in a few days and truck is stronger than ever. Hitting peak HP and TQ on WOT pulls as advertised. Same with advertised Top speed. 118 in the blink of an eye. No issues here, so im with all that are being limited to less mph, and maybe reduced power. Id be pissed... Hope it gets resolved. Super odd.

Same.

😂🤣 “user error?!” I would say “trial
And error” with the shift issue. I leveled my truck, damn near immediately figured out it was self inflicted, found a solution, then helped others. 🤷🏻‍♂️
What happened when you leveled your truck? Did you mention it somewhere else in the post?

These trucks won’t shift from 1st to 2nd on a WOT pull from a dead stop, when leveled with a 2” or taller kit.

Why what's stopping it?
Something with the front ride height sensors. It doesn’t like it. Zona motorsports fan’s up a shorter sensor link that goes from the UCA to the sensor itself that fixed the issue for all of us.
