How many of you are bailing from the RHO when the TRX is released?

Are you trading in your RHO and/or buying the New TRX when its released.

Maybe in a year or two. If there is a $10k msrp discount to be had. By then,
I plan to stay with the RHO. I final got a chance to drive an RHO today. I really liked it. I thought it was loud, I'm getting old! I need a daily. It seems like a decent amount on the TRX forum and who I know with a TRX have a different daily.
That's a good point. Fair amount of TRX owners have more than one vehicle that they drive on a regular basis. I want one daily, and not have to worry about and pay for other vehicles

If my RHO doesn't show up by the time they start taking Trx orders....Than Yes

Sticking with RHO. I like the ~440+ mile range for off-roading and road trips, as compared to the ~330-360 I expect with the TRX. As I mentioned previously, there's nothing that I can't do with my RHO that I can do with the TRX, except lose a drag race. Other than the Hellcat, there's nothing so remarkable about the TRX that I gotta have it. Of course, V8 devotees and exhaust sound junkies will have a different calculation.

Allocation is the biggest unknown at the moment. In no circumstance ever will I pay above MSRP, and to be quite honest if there isn’t a discount similar to RHO I wouldn’t be remotely interested either. We’re already being taken advantage of knowing “regular” 1500s can be had for $16-20k off MSRP. This truck is has significant margin built in… I am not losing that amount of resale value on an emotional purchase.
Friends don't let friends pay over MSRP! All RHOs and TRXs are subject to the same depreciation curve.

Makes complete sense but I will say aside from the MPG the TRX is just as good of a daily as the RHO imo. It's literally the same exact truck except more hp.

It's not like it's Porsche gt3rs or something. It's just a fast pickup.

Unless you’re taking into account fuel costs… then it’s approximately 40% less good of a daily than a RHO.

Gas mileage isn’t my primary concern, to a point. I also put on 20k miles+ per year, so it’s something I need to be a bit conscious of. The TRX also can’t do anything for me that a RHO can, so the cost/benefit just doesn’t make a lot of sense for my uses.

It’s a rad truck, for sure. If it was just a toy for me and I had another daily, probably a different calculation.

Up in communist Canada here, we have to pay a luxury tax on anything over 100k. My dealer said the new TRX would be north of 160k, so with luxury tax of around 13k plus 8k tax, plus deliver fees and all the other B.S the truck will be 185k. I'll have to pass on that.

That's a pretty big con though - Having to hit the gas station 6 or 8 times a month instead of 3 or 4.

I guess if you don't put a lot of miles on your vehicle every week, then that's not really a factor.

Also have to consider road trips and having to stop more often for fuel.

We're talking what - 280 miles per tank vs. 400 ?

Not a huge deal, but I've had vehicles that I had to fuel up about 1.5 to 2 times a week. Kind of a pain in the ass

My reason for not wanting the TRX:
-cabin noise/noise (phone calls, music/podcast, considerate to my neighbors)
-range per fill up
-mental issue with spending more than 80k, seems crazy (my 05 ram was 21k otd)
-1st year run
-better one coming later if I ever want one (37s etc)

Frankly the RHO is overkill. I'm seeing 1500 BH in the 50s, 1500 Lariats in the 60s and 2500 Lariats in the 70s.

If the phrase "considerate to my neighbors" is even part of your vocabulary, then the TRX definitely isn't for you.

LOL. Hardly. You can't even pump your own gas.

You reminded me of another one, I don't plan on being part of a street takeover.
I have absolutely zero clue how what I posted has anything to do with pumping my own gas? Am I missing something? I was saying that high vehicle prices are Joe Biden's fault lol. Please explain.

Anyways, I will say not sure why people brag about pumping their own gas like it's some sort of accomplishment.

Standing in someone's dip spit pile and pumping your own gas when it's 27⁰ out? No thanks lol. If you think this makes you cool though, I won't judge.

I'd rather sit in my truck texting 🤣

Do forget insurance cost as well

My apologies I guess I misread that one
