How many of you are bailing from the RHO when the TRX is released?

Are you trading in your RHO and/or buying the New TRX when its released.

Everyone is like "why doesn't Ram include better built in security?!"

Guys, they already gave us trucks that don't start. That's the best security you could possibly have. What more do people want?
Higher horsepower trucks that don't start

The only thing that would get me out of my RHO is if my wife told me I could quit my job if I sell it. I'm about to start flight school and certainly don't need a truck with unusable power and shittier fuel economy. I'm perfectly happy with my RHO, even with all its electrical gremlins and can't justify getting rid of a paid off truck for an even more expensive one.

So I'm here to stay

If the TRX is going back into production, then this means the RHO production is history, so maybe (Maybe) the RHO will hold it's value and have a better after market sell price?

I am positive they will take the Ford approach and build them both. But unlike Ford, they wont put a limit on the TRXs

I don't think this is true. Ram apparently dumped a shit ton of money into the development of the Hurricane. It's not going anywhere. Plus, they're still going to build the high-outputs for the limited and tungstens.

If the RHO had a completely different body and components I'd agree, but it's literally just a TRX with a different engine. It's probably not going anywhere. If they can continue to produce it without losing money, they will.

Sales are low, but I'd wager they're going to pick up. The TRX announcement is bringing a lot of buzz back to Ram and the off-road segment in general which will probably indirectly raise RHO sales, when the people who don't want the TRX go with the RHO.

RHO isn’t going anywhere. Marketing strategy is to have RHO vs EcoBoost Raptor and TRX vs Raptor R. Different budgets, different buyers.

I have to believe the “low” sales are the result of high prices and affordability problems. RHO is an expensive truck, and with TRX being even more expensive I wouldn’t expect TRX sales to be stronger than RHO.

Oh I totally agree, I think the low sales are more an indicator of the economy, and not a lack of interest in the trucks.

I absolutely love my vehicles so I justify the high expense, but in my honest opinion (maybe I'm living in the past) the RHO should be ~60k and the TRX should be ~80k.

Inflation since the "pandemic" has just been out of control. It's turning people away. Even people that have the money.

I'd wager TRX sales will be less than half of what they were vs. the initial release back in 2021.

Even at my job for a small example, people who make 3x what I do simply haven't been buying new vehicles because to the average, car-is-an-appliance consumer, it's a huge fucking waste of money.

I have no actual knowledge of how the car market is doing, this is just what I've seen in my small bubble.

This!...I have been keeping track of the 2026 RHO and Tungsten in my area ...They both have been sitting on the lot so far for 45+ days.

So you don't think they will do two versions of the TRX? The name TRX itself is more intimidating to me than RHO...Like have a Single Turbo V8 version (Eco Boost Raptor comp) vs. Twin...

Only RAM can say, but for the foreseeable future I have to believe the other version of the TRX already exists…it’s the RHO.

Agree Donut. Vehicle prices are up 30-35% across the board from pre-pandemic levels for a variety of factors. Worse, homeowners insurance, car insurance, and everything else is up too. It will take more time for things to feel “balanced.” RHO and TRX were always going to be low volume specialty vehicles, but current market conditions make them even more so. Glad I got mine when I did!

This is facts. The 21 TRX was the same MSRP as 25 RHO, proving your point. The economy is going downhill fast, inflation through the roof, most Americans cant afford a house or groceries, let alone a 6 figure vehicle. Definitely niche trucks for us idiots with more money than sense.

HEY.....I identify with that remark!

oh I 100% expect that TRX sales will outnumber RHO once they’re smoothly flowing through production.

Something about big egos doesn’t go well with inline-6… I learned long ago that there’s always room for best in the market… when you have it, people will find a way to buy it.

I really don’t expect that we’ll see the same level of marketing behind RHO as we will for TRX. It’s the new halo and price, I think, will be less irrelevant than saying you have the best and most powerful truck on the market for those with the means and ego to match it.

Exactly. Tons of people will want the new TRX ...... and many of those people will 'settle' for a RHO instead. Smart way to attract people to the brand

IMHO, the RHO brought many new buyers into the RAM brand, like me, who purchased for reasons that may include ego but that was not the over-arching motivation as it seems to be for TRX buyers. This is my first truck purchase. I've never been a "truck guy" because up to now I've always needed more room or just couldn't afford a new vehicle. Now that I'm an empty nester who is active and still working, the RHO gets me everywhere I want to go and do everything my wife and I want to do. If the TRX was the only RAM performance truck offering, I would have purchased a F-150 EcoBoost Raptor because of the price difference, even though I can buy either for cash. When it came to RHO vs. EcoBoost Raptor, RAM was a no-brainer and based on many posts on this forum the RHO has won over many former F-150 Raptor owners. Given that background and current market conditions, I can't see a scenario where a six-figure truck outsells a similar one that is substantially less expensive. It just really depends on your situation, and although my example is just one anecdote, I suspect there are more of "me" out there than dedicated halo truck buyers. I am very happy the TRX is back, if anything I believe it's return enhances the value of my RHO. Time will tell, but I have spoken!
