Well, you say all this and it sounds just peachy, but when we contact you via PM my personal experience so far is

It takes a couple of days to get a Response from Ram Cares
And the response is to request data like VIn. Which I did in the first PM
And then a Few days later they call you saying they re talking to the dealer and they will contact again next working day
And then after 3 days and you haven’t heard anything and you call them
First You get voice mail
And then you go thru various prompts to get a real person (possibly in the Philippines) they say “oh sorry I was on vacation” and “I’m not a technical person”

Blah blah

I may sound frustrated. I am. My $85K vehicle has been in the shop for 2 weeks for the third time with the same problem. With no solution And my dealer is waiting on Stellantis to give them possible fixes (guesses!) one by one trying for what is clearly a known problem

Ram Cares can take a flying leap for all I care, my guess is they are an AI driven stalling tactic to cover stellantis’ backsides.

probably stupid question... but what does a misfire feel or sound like?
I think it depends on which cylinder or how many are misfiring and how often. From personal experience, it can be something as mild as loss of power or delay in responsiveness, or on the more problematic side, rough jerky feeling when accelerating. If bad enough it can lead to the vehicle stalling out. This happened to me on a brand new 2010 Santa Fe. We managed to lemon law it because the manufacturer had 3 attempts to fix it and failed, while it also was a massive safety hazard since it stalled out in the middle of an intersection. Anyway, that's my experience with it.

You always have Lemon law. Check your states rules on it. I think AZ is 3 times with the same issue

Correct and thanks. But I’d prefer not to have to deal with all that and have a vehicle that did what’s it’s supposed to do

One month later.. another CEL and misfire today.off to the dealer tmrw..for the 4th time. 11k mi. One year since delivery next week. Frustrated. The last one had it in the shop just under 3 weeks..

l wouldn’t mind talking with anyone on here who has had similar experience.

One of the great mysteries is that every misfire has happened in the same place geographically. And I mean within 50 yds..in a town we visit say every 2 weeks. Ie not at home. It’s almost like the GPS is driving these??

Do you have more information to add?. What has been done so far by the dealership? Every dealership service I’ve used gives you a printout of what was done including parts replaced. Is it One Cyl or Multiple Cyl?

Generally speaking, when a misfire is detected by the PCM, there are a number of components involved. MAF, Crank sensor, fuel injector, spark plug, coil pack & vacuum hose.

I am currently experiencing a CEL codes are stating multiple cylinder misfire issues. However, the car is driving just fine. @RamCares how should I proceed

If able, please DM us with your VIN and the CEL codes showing. We would like to cross reference the concern to see if any documentation or routes of support exist.
