Let’s not. I don’t think all the badges are red on the TRX. Go.We're really doing the octane thing again?
I always ran 89 in all my hemi'sI would never recommend anyone run less octane than what is in the manual. The RHO was EPA certifed using 91+ octane so they recommend it for fuel economy and max performance.
Many people not aware of these either, I have rarely met anyone that runs 89 in a Hemi.
-2004-2026 Ram 1500 Requires Hemi 89 octane
-2026 GM 6.2l Requires 91+ Octane
Instead of that they need to offer a big brake kit from the factory. The brakes on these things suck for any sort of aggressive driving.Do you guys think we will ever see a 37 package TRX or RHO? Or a 2WD option instead of full time 4xauto?
I think we might see 37’s at least on some sort of special edition models. I don’t think we’ll see 2wd thoughDo you guys think we will ever see a 37 package TRX or RHO? Or a 2WD option instead of full time 4xauto?
I have been working with a company on making this option happen for us...huge opportunity there to get a fix on brakes. stock brakes require a lot of input to stop.Instead of that they need to offer a big brake kit from the factory. Are the brakes on the TRX and RHO the same?
I've never had a problem hard-stopping my TRX (even when I'm doing something way too fast/stupid). I'll admit that the brake pedal FEELS very mushy and sloppy, but I feel like the actual brakes work fine. I can lock them up to the point that the ABS kicks in, that's all you can really ask for. Anything tighter than that is just preference on foot-feel.Yes, and in my opinion it's almost criminal they don't at least offer an upgrade to better brakes on a truck that weighs over 6000lbs and has 700hp.
Any kind of spirited driving and you have to stand on the pedal to stop.
Don't listen to the sissies that say the brakes are fine, they all drive like old men and should have their trucks forcefully seized and replaced with Pentastar v6's.
People rave about the night and day difference after installing big brake kits on these. There really should be a factory option.
They would have to package another wheel, though. Because big brake kits do not fit with either factory wheel option currently offered.
I am told Packaging is why we dont have a larger brake caliper from the factory to help with getting the pedal feel we would all like....but...Ford Uses a different style of brake actuation to get a better pedal feel on the Raptor than our RHO. What is wild is the RHO stops 20ft shorter than a F-150 Raptor from 60-0.Yes, and in my opinion it's almost criminal they don't at least offer an upgrade to better brakes on a truck that weighs over 6000lbs and has 700hp.

Next up we should discuss engine oil additivesWe're really doing the octane thing again?
Big brake kits exist for the truck... Go buy one if you want it.
