Yeah, on the phone they were already acting as if I was crazy. I’ll just follow the process. I am ready to get frustrated for months. Luckily all other truck issues have disappeared on their own.

If they at least cut a check I can take the car to Hennessy and see if they are taking RHOs.

To be fair a lot of time has passed since the disastrous things he was doing on the viper alley forum back in the day. None the less that can all be looked up and it was really bad. Maybe he's legit now but I wouldnt trust that company personally.

Others may feel differently that have had work there and things went fine.

Question about that last statement. If your truck, for whatever reason, was one that was affected by the 98mph update, since Ram contacted you directly and asked if yours was affected, would they have fixed yours quickly and left everyone else without answers?

I ask because I’m sure that’s how it is and they do have a fix.

That’s a solid question. I honestly don’t know. I was camping at the time and also had a funeral later that week. So honestly, even if they wanted me to come in for a fix, it wasn’t going to happen this past week.

Personally, I hoped mine was affected. I would like to see the problem myself.

Instead I got a check engine light I’m dealing with that I plan on addressing tomorrow. So I’m not out of the woods. I have a code reader, I attached the Google search on the code, and I have a good idea on the issue. Dealership is 14 days out and no, Ram isn’t sending someone in or giving me special treatment at the dealer. I don’t want them too either. I hate that stuff.

Truck runs fine. I’ll have an update once I confirm my suspicions.

Waaaaay back in 95-96…I was buying parts from Hennessy for my bosses 94 Viper(header, exhaust, roller rockers, gears etc).

We got led on for more than 9 months and finally spoke to a tech who told me where to get the parts, refunded much of the money but we did get the headers n exhaust.

They were running a pyramid scheme of sorts…not sure it’s improved much after speaking to a shop that had one of their “supercars” getting PPF’d last year. No engine or trans. It was a wreck up close.

Stay away. Far far away.

I’m sure they’ll resolve your issue. I mean, if they really are in this forum they are probably sick and tired of seeing us post about this every single day. I have a feeling they have the fix and know how to fix it, but haven’t came out with it yet because it’ll make their brand look bad. At least that’s my unpopular opinion. I mean, ford and Chevy guys will read and hear about it and will keep talking shit about the Ram brand and how Ram “limited” the mph on their flagship vehicle… then others that are thinking of going with Ram will stay away and purchase another brand just because of that.

Ram has to see how they go about initiating and completing the fix without making a big scene, which is why I’m sure they’ve kept quiet thus far.

I may be retarded but that’s my .02 lol

Love the videos man! Just be thankful your truck hasn’t been in the shop for 45 days with no end in sight! Ram hasn’t offered any compensation and the dealership told me to pound sand multiple times… truly upsetting.

I want very much to order Serrano Green RHO,but every day I read about more MAJOR problems causing people to lose the use of their truck.
This is NOT normal minor recall stuff easily fixed.
These are system wide design flaws that RAM is incapable of fixing .

Order the truck. You only hear the bad on forums. I’m almost 10k miles in and no issues worth mentioning. The truck is a beast and I still smile every time I get in it. Just do it!
