It's funny you say that. My dealer could not get the brake light to go off after having it for an extra month after replacing the brake booster and module. I shared that my son was a BMW mechanic and how he suggested to bleed the brakes properly using positive pressure and a scan tool to modulate the HCU. That got me a snicker. Ultimately when they sent an engineer out this turned out to be the exact fix. Based on my Ram app the truck sat in the back of the parking lot the majority of the 45 days it was there. When cleaning it up for pickup they scratched the heck out of the paint. See attached. This was taken while I was at the dealership and the entire truck literally looked like this. This cost me a significant amount for a two-step paint correction and re-application of ceramic. I was only able to recoup a small amount from the dealer. So while they did not key me, they did something nearly as bad. I don't know if I just have bad luck or if others don't see these types of problems or are more forgiving.

Damn that sucks. Even if I didn’t want to hear it and I wrote the customer off, I almost always gave it a quick search and at least relayed the info to the tech.

I heard that’s the standard way to bleed the brakes on these trucks, so it’s wild they didn’t even know that.

12k miles on my RHO...still got it over 102mph (off road )! Would order another RHO tomorrow. Drove a Raptor R over the weekend...sounded cool but man getting back in the RHO felt so much nicer.

ZR2s, AT4X....but it's not just tire specs....it also has to do with the driveline, lockers, etc. It makes more sense for those to be speed limited...although you really wouldn't expect a big 6.2L V8 to limit out so quickly. I certainly don't miss that

Those are Chevys…we are talking about something with serious speed off road chops..not a rock crawling ball joint breaking competition they’re known for

I am stuck with the dealer who won’t diagnose because of the speed limit concern and Ram care telling me that without diagnosing they can’t do anything or better said, won’t do anything.

Somewhere on here is the SW part # that was put on the 98mph club RHO's. They should be able to check software level to confirm rather than driving.

Be careful getting PCM software updates done on your truck. This version (68733601AA) will set your top speed limiter at 98mph.

Yes, the dealer can check SW Version... and I'm pretty sure there is a bulletin for the EU trucks that this was supposed to go on ONLY. If the dealer is not logical enough to figure that out by putting two and two together I'd find a new dealer.

Alternative - Take a video of your truck topping out at 98(In Mexico of course) and post it all over Socials... It will get attention... Tag Stellantis, tag Ram... Tag Donald Trump...
