This was setup on my TRX, I might go this same route again.

Does this rack work with a roll up hard cover without the t-slots? Looking for something to add that sits lower than the cab and that I can mount kayak mounts to as well. I'd prefer to go this route than have to go out and purchase new Thule mounts for the bars I have.

Which racks are these?
I'm currently looking at the RCI 18" HD rack, they offer adapters for the tonneau cover and will bring it right where I need it to mount kayaks and clear the roof.

These are from Leitner Racks. My wife installed one on her Tundra a couple years back that she uses for hunts and became a brand ambassador for them. I ended up installing the same system because I liked the modular mods, and onboard water. It’s high quality stuff, made in the USA. Has anyone run or heard anything on the Putco Venture TEC racks? They seem to offer lots of options and flexibility, the base t-slots utilize the stake pockets for mounting and don’t appear to interfere with a tonneau. They do come with that premium cost.

i run the RetraxPro XR with Front Runner Outfitters crossbars (3) with a Colorado RTT and 270 awning. I'll try and get some pics up soon. thinking of adding bags so when towing or running the tent i can adjust the rear to get rid of sag and help with leveling when sleeping in the tent.

The airbags to help level is an interesting idea. I have never run airbags…can you individually inflate to adjust left to right or do you not have to get that granular with a RTT?

so depending on what system you get and how you have it setup with the controller you can manipulate each bag independently or together. i usually just run leveling blocks as needed to level out when camping but if i can get a bag setup to essentially do the same thing, thats a win for sure.
