Ram Digital Key Update

I'm the "lucky" one that got the update quick and had no issues pairing ... Where in confused is locking and unlocking. which area is the "proper" area or procedure for locking and unlocking. Both when I'm solo occupant and when passengers are present.

I guess I'm just spoiled with my wife's Model Y. Walk up grab ANY handle and it unlocks. Walk away And AutoMAGICally it locks.

Same as before- you can unlock by placing your hand in between the sheet metal and the handle and touching the inside of the handle on either the driver and/or passenger side front door. To lock, you simply tap the small square indent that’s on the exterior of either the front driver and/or passenger door.

So I figured this but for some reason I press the square and my lights flash but nothing happens. After a few attempts it will sometimes lock so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong...

Well, I was excited to get this working, but no luck today.
I opened the truck screen and hit “add user key”, but when I hit “start pairing” on the phone app, a red banner pops up immediately and says something failed, try again.
All the other functions on my app work properly, not sure what I should try next…

I got mine working but only like the credit card that came with the truck. I have deleted my phone from CarPlay , turned proximity off and on, deleted the app and reinstalled, and made sure passive entry was turned on in my wallet tile but no matter what I do I have to open wallet and select the card and put my phone against the handle. Obviously something with the ultra wide band is not working to allow it to act as a key fob. I tried my wife’s iPhone also with the same results. If anyone ran into this same issue please let me know if you got it working right

It’s the truck. Not your phone..I have tried every single method sent to me and zeros. Can’t get it to work.
