Look for the pumps with the green handles. Those are the best to use. Green means go. Best for hot weather.Hey guys, just recently picked up my truck. for the first few refuels, i used 87 but today i emptied my tank down to as little as i could and ended up realizing that there was no 91 octane as rated on the RHO. I waited and did some research and used 93 Octane. since there is no 91 octane where i am in TX, am i supposed to be using 93? as regular? and if i wanted to, could i empty out my tank and then refuel with 87? not really worried about losing some of my horsepower numbers since this isnt used to tow or offroad but it does get to almost 100 or more degrees outside. someone pls help
It says to use 91 or above. Just pay the extra cash. You have a $70k+ truck. And you never have to "empty" a tank. Gas mixes. 91 is just a mix of 93 and 89. Get a Shell/Fuel rewards card and buy 93.Hey guys, just recently picked up my truck. for the first few refuels, i used 87 but today i emptied my tank down to as little as i could and ended up realizing that there was no 91 octane as rated on the RHO. I hate you, I was just confused since it was my first pickup and just moved to the statesThat's what I'm saying...so much work though, for what reason? Who has that kind of time? Makes no sense.
I have people either telling me 87 is fine, also have people telling me it’s for emergencies. I have my dealer telling me 89 is fine, a video also saying never use 89. I have people telling me to not use 93, use 91. I was confused bruhWhat part of “The use of 91 or higher octane premium gasoline is required in this engine“ do you not understand?
I’m about to be up to my neck in gasGo with the official source - your users manual. 91 octane gasoline or greater. Which means 93 but not 89 or 87 or diesel or corn syrup.
Do u have 91 where ur from?Nothing to add but I actually have a reminder sticker when I fill up .
It's, like, so confusing, bruh. Bruh it's so hard.93. I’m confused that this is still a conversation.
