Cats carry a 1 year warranty, so yes.Keeping an eye on this... interested! Love the low end and mid range gains.
Deeper sounding and way more volume so would need to adjust exhaust, currently have 2 Vibrant 17950 resonators could just add a couple of their shorter ones further up no problem.

Can these be sent out ceramic coated also for a little more heat coverage? If not I'm sure I can find a local shop to do them.

I don't have the ability to ceramic coat on-site so it's not in the cards.
Keep in mind that the factory ones did have an issue with melting so these are designed with the intent to dissipate heat at a much faster rate then the factory cats. The reduction in back pressure plays the biggest part in lower egt's but I have no idea how much that will change with ceramic coating.
Left the H up front as is. Removed giant stock muffler and valves and welded in (staggered) two 17950 Vibrant resonators (18" full length and 5" diameter). It's definitely a little deeper and louder than stock but not super impressed. But not sure I would be with anything. Trying to get BMW TT I6 clean performance sounds out of this length/configured exhaust is difficult. Likely that I go back to stock once I add the downpipes and/or add another pair of Vibrant resonators further up or small muffler + current resonators.Did you just remove the stock muffler and swap the Vibrants in?
I’ve heard a couple of sound clips and these have my attention… but curious what your observations were compared to stock.
In my opinion do not remove the H-pipe up front. The amount of suppression it makes in the 180-230hz range is crazy. I took one out and replaced it with resonators and it was louder and sounded worse than without resonators....Hmm sounds like it's not ideal or necessary to coat like a couple of other manuf push... I've done coated long tubes a few times and glad I did there but those were an NA 392 and a supercharged/hellcat Challengers. Other than a few cummins trucks this is my first turbo I6. I'd hate to trap heat in the cat against its design, results may be bad.

These trucks have a weird resonance on cold start and part throttle when you replace the factory cats. It seems to peak in that same frequency range 180-230hz. Full throttle sounds great but IMO it's a bit too loud (I'm old) part throttle and cold starts.
I really like the borla front muffler design they have in their system that incorporates an H-pipe. I may buy a system just to use that front piece, again because I'm old and like quiet.
The x-pipe mufflers may be a good choice as well to put in place of the factory H-pipe. Tame the raspy peaks and smooth out and lower the tone...
I have a couple of front h-pipe sections I think I'll probably throw flowmaster x-pipe muffler on one and see how it sounds with the down pipes and factory exhaust

Thanks for the info - definitely interested in hearing how the exhaust experiments go. On this particular setup... quiet deep performance tone is all I want so we are about on the same page. Once I get a set of your DPs I'll be adding a couple more resonators or going back to stock muffler plus a small set of resonators somewhere but likely without the valves (massively improve flow at the DP/cat then keep valves in the way... rather not). I never ran straight pipes on this truck and wouldn't. I doubt it's as loud I'm sure the resonators pull back a few db especially since I used the 5" diameter 18" long option.Would you say it’s as loud as straight pipe compared to having the Vibrants?
