14 city 16 highway...average.
I have had highway sections on roadtrips where I averaged 17-18.

Correct. And that's running your custom mode (sport-trans; sport- suspension & street everything else)?
Going to try that, currently get 12.5 to 13 but that is with warming the truck right now in the winter. So I know it will improve once its warmer.Correct.
The limited range is a deal killer for me. I use my RHO for road trips and going off road, and don’t want to carry too much extra gas or suffer from butt pucker worrying about getting back to civilization.Never got above 12 mpg, at least when i pay attention to it lol. i have averaged 10.8 since i owned the truck. I dont think i ever use it in anything but sport or baja mode and drive like a pissed off teenager. Raptor got 13-14, trx 8 ish so pretty happy to get 11 in this. 8 mpg is rough, 250 miles on a tank is painful, not financially but never missing a pump. Im there enough with the RHO.
For me on the new trx srt, its badass (as if we'd expect anything else) but 7-8 mpg is a no go for a little faster 0-60 and the same exact truck i already own minus power plant. Maybe i will feel different when i can order and i can get it for $90k ish but i highly doubt my mind will change. Spending more money for something that doesnt give me personally any more value seems stupid. I dont street race my truck or hit the drag strip so half a second 0-60 difference is not a concern. I also dig the RHO stealth power.
My take is this, Raptor is a great truck but needs some more power and refinement in other areas , trx is great in almost every way but the sub 250 mile range takes away from the joy quickly. The RHO is a blend of the best features from both. Decent mileage, nearly trx power and the best interior. For me its the perfect truck. Im going to run it 2 more years until warranty is almost up, sell it and get another.
To those getting srt-trx, fuck yeah , going to be an insane rig to wipe the Raptor R ownersall over the floor with. LOL
Same bro same, I mainly offroad and haul dirtbikes, no chance i want to pack more gas. Some of the offroad loops we do in the desert are hundreds of miles and would have to pack gas. The wife and i also want to do the baja soon and less gas to pack the better. The limited range is a deal killer for me. Or a truck that can’t go faster than 0-60 in 5 seconds.Counterpoint: Anyone who gets over 13 should have just bought a Pentastar![]()

You know I kid!! I’m sure it’s just your launch technique.
I mean the launch technique is idiotproof haha. You literally just hold the RPMs then floor it. It's an automatic transmission. There are plenty of people who can't get under 5. Plenty. I've never been able to not hit an advertised 0-60 time in any car I've owned. Including manuals. You know I kid!! In all seriousness...without using launch control...if I go above 3500? rpms while holding the brakes....and gun it, it falls on its face...a little below and she launches.....I mean the launch technique is idiotproof haha. Come up to NJ and drive my truck, and I'll give you the title if you can get it under 5.4. I've tried about 40 times.
Call it a hunch but I bet there’s a bank somewhere that wouldn’t agree to that offerI mean the launch technique is idiotproof haha. You literally just hold the RPMs then floor it. Wow, genius! Yes, I won't own the truck for another couple years. I think @RamFan is well aware that we were kidding around and I (or the bank) wasn't going to give him the title to my truckCall it a hunch but I bet there’s a bank somewhere that wouldn’t agree to that offer
