What's the latest on the mud flaps? I'm getting mine Thursday and want decent coverage since I'm doing power steps. Seeing so much conflicting info online some don't fit but say they do some only fronts fit...I don't want to spend 300 on flaps either. Anyone get mid to bigger ones that work good in that $75-$150 range?
 
Everything I’ve read says the fronts are identical to TRX, but the rears are slightly different. At least for the Weathertech. I am not sure about other brands.

Rekgens are $155 and fit perfectly. Works well and looks good IMO.
 
Rekgens have plenty of coverage. Paid $120 with a sale, and I'm sure they'll run another one.
 
Installed the full sized ARK splash guards. They seem decent for flat plastic that’s probably cut by a water jet. I like that you can slide them inwards or outwards. All the way in provides plenty of coverage IMO. I also like how they aren’t cut flat across the bottom.

I would say just OK. I was hoping that it would keep the spray to a minimum but not so much. I can say I haven't had a single rock nick me that I have kicked up. I only got the fronts but given that they do what I need and don't look like something that should be on a semi, I'm going to go ahead and order the rears too.

I honestly care more about the rocks than the spray. So may try them as well. I prefer their look over all the other options.
 
I’ve tested splash guards, mid, and full length, and without a doubt the full length fronts stop more rocks… but you’ll still get some that kick under the flaps. Running boards take care of most everything else and are a necessity in my mind.

I ended up with full length up front but mid length in back. I really don’t like the look of full length mud guards that cover up the entire tire, but decided to keep them up front to protect my rear fenders.

My $59 flaps from Amazon definitely saved me from a body divot a couple of weeks ago.

I was on the freeway, headed home after a Costco run (sometimes I take the long way home, to open her up), when I heard a "THUNK" from the Driver's Front side.

When I got home, there was a prominent gouge in the edge of the driver's front flap. It was above the running boards, so it's pretty much a guaranteed paint hit without the flaps.

They are excellent for the money. I cant find any difference between them and the weather tech
