Roar Pedal

Taking my truck in for routine service tomorrow and uninstalled the Roar Pedal. It was easier to remove than I recall installing it. Took ~10 minutes total.

Donut’s got me freaked out on warranty issues so didn’t want to chance it. After removal, truck runs flawlessly with no lights/codes.

In all honesty though I didn't even remove my Roar pedal when I went for my oil change. I just set it to factory setting. Unless they crawl in the footwell and look around (they won't) they'll never know. It doesn't leave logs on the ECU like a tuner does, so if your engine/transmision blows up, they can't void the warranty.

I just took off my Roar Pedal. I loved it and never had an issue with it. Just don't need it anymore. It works perfectly. If anyone wants to buy it PM me.

I have had to take mine in twice since installing it. One was for a drain on the battery. Nothing was said about it.

It's been just over a week since routine service and the two recalls: (a) gauge cluster and (b) Purge Valve Hose. So far, no problems, and it runs great. Reinstalled Roar Pedal this morning, and it seems to work better than originally. Man, love this truck.

FYI I talked to the service manager at our local Ram dealership where we have our stuff done. Talked to him about tuners…he said I don’t care..just remove it before you bring it in or we will charge you to remove it especially if something breaks 🤣.

Duly noted :)
