Seeing many RHO's?

Us level 1 guys are usually towing our yachts behind us.
Ya… well… us base model guys are hauling all the cash we saved by not paying $10,000 for a Passenger screen. So ha! ( I wish I had a hud, ventilated seats, LED third brake light 😢 ) lol

Ventilated sack for the win. 🤣🤣

In Colorado, seen 2 in December, the first since picking mine up in April. See as many Raptors as Honda Civics.

I literally see probably no fewer than 3-5 Raptors on my daily commute to and from work.

I'm in Frisco so north of Dallas. I've seen one other in my neighborhood that is an exact twin of mine. Forged blue metallic with the bed utility group. He pulled into the grocery store ahead of me the third day I had mine. I've also seen a black one in the area.

Not many in Northern VA, less than 5 this past year. Met up with a Hydro Blue to give him my factory bed cover, otherwise mostly black RHO’s. Yet to see another FBM on the road.

Ive passed a white one with the top half wrapped in black more than a few times that I always wonder if he’s in the forum.

Me too..

I've seen two, a white L1, and a hydro L0.

The white one has been off the radar for months (got me wondering if he had issues) and I've only seen the Hydro once just before Christmas.
The hydro you saw was not lvl 0. Any hydro blue is lvl 1. It is the only color that was never produced as a base option truck.

4 rho's and a ton of trx's in the obx

I’ve only seeing one in the wild.

I’ll be the first to admit I still struggle to determine if it’s a TRX or RHO in oncoming traffic. I’ve gotten better at identifying, but the first couple of months I wasn’t so sure. I’ve sure seen a pile of TRX, but maybe 2 or 3 confirmed RHOs in 16k mi of ownership.

Honestly, not a good look for Ram. I’ve seen higher quantities of each exotic car than $70k RHOs on the road. I know they’ve only been out for a year now, but sales volume can’t be very impressive compared to TRX or Raptor.

Even though no one wanted to hear it, I mentioned this in another thread as a major concern for the future of the RHO. It's pretty apparent the standard output Hurricane isn't going anywhere- but if they release this alleged TRX at a fair price, and the sales blow the RHO out of the water, I'd imagine Ram has little to no incentive to continue making the RHO.

To be completely honest, I love my RHO, but theres no way in hell I'd have bought it over the TRX had they both been available at the time I purchased. I'd imagine this is a sentiment a lot of us share? It's already been driving me nuts that they they're going to release a TRX again. If it's in the cards for me financially, I'm 100% going to pull the trigger on one. I genuinely can't help it. That's the truck I've always wanted from day 1, but back in 2022 when they came out I simply didn't have the buying power to even consider one, but now I do.

People will say "well Ford keeps both the ecoboost & R Raptors in the lineup". Yeah, well Ford also sells a gazillion ecoboost Raptors.

Ram was completely content not having the RHO exist when they had the TRX in the lineup. Well, now they're going to have a TRX in the lineup again. The RHO was strictly their answer to the TRX going bye bye and now the TRX isn't bye bye anymore.

If the new TRX is 100k+ then everything I just said is completely irrelevant. If it comes in at 85k like some people are thinking, then I think there's trouble ahead. Suppose we will see.

What will really suck is if the RHO does get discontinued, its value on the resale market could tank completely. Which makes me even more nervous and makes me consider getting rid of it before that would potentially happen.

This is all just speculation, since they offer the High Output in the Tungsten as well, and there's no way in hell they'd put the 6.2 in the Tungsten. So if they do keep the H.O. around, then they'll probably keep the RHO around.

The HO engine is also in the Limited.

I can't speak for sales volume, but I know the production volume. The RHO is nowhere close to the TRX numbers yet.

TRX:
2021 - 15,283
2022 - 22,354
2023 - 10,452
2024 - 6,799

RHO:
2025 - 6,828 (based on WS count, BS not available in MY25)
2026 - 7,369 to date

Got ya, I didn't know that. Still doesn't really change anything about what I said though. They can change engines very easily. People were content buying Limiteds forever with the 5.7 Hemi. I don't think the high output hurricane is the reason people are buying Tungstens and Limiteds. I think that customer base (e.g. 64 year old insurance salesmen 😂 ) doesn't care about power output too much. Baja truck buyers absolutely do.

Maybe I’m crazy but, if the TRX was still offered this past March when I bought my RHO, I still would have bought the RHO. I agree when the TRX first came out, it instantly became my dream truck. I had my mind made up that it would be my next truck. I ended up renting one through Turo for an extended weekend to make sure I loved it.

While I was in heaven driving the truck, I wasn’t totally sold on it. The power was nuts and a hell of a lot of fun but, it felt like a brick tumbling down the road. Pretty sure my neighbors also hated the 5AM thunderstorm when I would leave for the gym. The 8 mpg average I got also didn’t help it’s case.

After that weekend, I was torn on if I would actually buy one. I told my wife that I probably wouldn’t since I couldn’t justify the 8 mpg and that the truck just didn’t feel at all practical.

Few months later I heard about the RHO being introduced and it was as if my prayers had been answered — a practical TRX!

While I’ve yet to see anything close to the advertised mpg, I can live with 11-13 depending on how heavy my foot feels. I also genuinely believe the RHO is more refined and a better everyday driving experience.

Call me crazy but, for my current life needs, the RHO is absolutely perfect and I would buy it again over a TRX. That said, maybe after I don’t have three kids in car seats and can justify a secondary fun vehicle, I’d give a reintroduced TRX another shot!

Nah I can totally see this. Maybe I'm being narrow-minded with my assumptions.

Like me personally, I get 9mpg tops in my RHO and have my throttle controller set to almost the most sensitive setting. I'm about power power power which is maybe why I lean towards the TRX so much. I know everyone isn't like me.

I'm also 35 with no kids. So not ready to get rid of my obnoxious side quite yet, even if that makes me a sad example of someone trying to hold onto my youth. 🤣. TRX can be very obnoxious and I love that, perfect almost-mid-life-crisis vehicle.

I drive one regularly and the butt Dyno cannot be further apart, idc what numbers say. This is by no means an attack on the RHO I love it. Just sharing my opinions for the sake of discussion.

Everyone needs to realize less than 7000 RHOs were produced stateside in 2025.

Let me put it another way.

My wife bought her grandfather's restored 1931 Ford Model A.

She became a member of the Model A Club of California, to network and learn about the maintenance and upkeep of such an old car.

The Model A Registry documentation we received from the CA Model A Club says there are over 250,000 Model As on the road today, with an estimate of 11,000 to 19,000 in California alone.

This means there are potentially more 90+ year old Model As on the road in California, than there are 2025, and now 2026 RHOs are across the entire United States.

This is why many of us here have "One of One" vehicles.

You don't see many RHOs because the production numbers for RHOs are extremely low.

Makes you wonder if this was intentional because RAM viewed the RHO as a short-term stop-gap to fill a void until the TRX came back? or is the demand just that low?
