How much of that can you hear in the cab?!

Love the video, but I’m always left wondering what stock sounds like in comparison. That’s the first time I’ve seen a microphone placed in front of the windshield like this.

That filter looks substantially smaller than the stock filter. I’m surprised you got better times with it!

It is very noticeable. You really only hear it on acceleration. Driving normal, you wont notice it. I do when I am leaving from a stop sign to gain speed. For me, it turns me on!
 
So confused about the RHO-specific K&N intake…. According to the below thread, it doesn’t fit and it loses power on the dyno.

Curious what prompted you to install this? Was it an experiment or did someone confirm fitment and performance increases?

 
Is this the same K&N that they dyno tested on that JB4 YouTube or is this a new K&N?

So this was a test to see if it doesn't fit and if it increases HP.
-It DOES fit
-It IS slightly better than stock

I did quick tests and it is faster than the stock intake

Do you think the sound and power increase is from the entire intake assembly or just the filter? Any noticeable difference to the air box from stock?

Also, any difference in idle sound at all? On my Cummins, the S&B CAI sounded awesome with the boost but the idle was a bit of a headache after a bit.

Speaking of S&B, any info from them on an intake coming soon? I loved their quality. K&N brings me back to the early 2000s tuner days. Which isn’t a bad thing.

I will find out tomorrow if there is a true increase on HP. The sound is amazing, I love it. I think it is from the assembly for sure, mostly the tube. No idle sound difference. Nothing from S&B but my buddy Matt from Moes Performance is in contact with them and will let me know when he has something.

I’m with you. I may just wait for a drop in k&n filter with this factory airbox personally
 
Same. I dig the oem filter box. I simply want an a tube of the same material, color, fit as the oem without the sound baffles. Basically the way it should have come from RAM.
 
Is it me or did the price of the DiabloSport jump up a bit in the past few week?

For those running the Diablosport. Do you leave the map on all the time or do you run it on stock until you want a little more get up and go? If you leave it on a map which one?

I leave mine on map 2 all the time, even when towing.

I’ll throw it on map 3 if I’m a feeling a bit friskier 😂

I also upped the boost in gears 1 and 2 from their low stock settings in Map 3 to 80% in first and 90% in second. I may raise them a bit today as I'm playing around with it still
