Testing the DiabloSport CAT 6 with Draggy

I installed mine on Saturday. Noticing on the app that maps 2 and 3 say 93 octane. I was under the impression that we could run 91 octane on these maps. Is that not the case?

I also upped the boost in gears 1 and 2 from their low stock settings in Map 3 to 80% in first and 90% in second. I may raise them a bit today as I'm playing around with it still

I have to live vicariously through you guys. So you can do boost by gear? The factory limits boost I assume for traction?

My question for you guys with the DS Cat 6, can you set different levels per drive mode? As in say when the truck is in Auto mode, you have it at Level 0. You’re feeling frisky so you switch to Sport mode; can you have it set and save to Level 3? Or is the Level you have set in the app going to apply across all drive modes?

From what I understand, all 3 maps were developed on 91 octane. So you can run map 3 on 91, but for best results, 93 is recommended. Which sucks because I only have 91 where I live.

I’m not 100% sure, but i don’t think you can have it react to different drive modes. That would be sweet though!

No different levels for drive mode, it's just the preloaded maps that stay the same no matter what drive mode you're in

I honestly don't see why you wouldn't just keep it on Map 3 all times. The power delivery is smooth so it's not like the truck is crazy on Map 3.

I run 'custom' drive mode 100% of the time - Sport everything and street steering.

Why not run boostane with 91 pump to get to 93? For one can of boostane you could do 90 gallons of 91 boosted to 93.

Sweet. Thanks for the feedback. In that case I can see why you would just run Map 3 when you want to use the Cat 6.

It will stay on 100% of the time and Map 3 is my new normal

I thought all maps were tested on 91 (so you should be safe) but not get the full power the additional octane points would net you with the timing retard if predetonation is sensed

Would be something DS could confirm though
