It was centered for the most part but there were moments while passing semis that I wanted to grab the wheel but didn't.

No, even better! They cross threaded some bolts! Luckily the wheels have inserts, similar to RaceLine beadlocks, so I i can remove the insert and install a new one in its place. Unfortunately I ran out of inserts. BUT I did order 5 wheels, so that 5th wheel will now be stripped of inserts. This is a lesson learned the hard way, but I hope it was educational for y'all haha.

Looks great, have you posted up any pics of the tent closed up and or just the rack from different angles? How difficult would that rack be to put off and on and will it work with the RC hard roll up?

Did her third oil change at 3k miles (first was at 500, second at 1,500). Also changed the filter this time around. It was a bear to get off. I don’t know what ever happened to oil filters being on hand tight. The last three vehicles I’ve done, either factory installed or dealer serviced, had the oil filters torqued down so tight I basically crush them getting them off with a strap wrench. I guess that’s why I do my own changes these days. Gotta do it yourself if you want it done right.

Shipment from Blauparts arrives Thursday with fluids for front and rear diff changes as well as the transfer case.

Added the bedstep and it was very easy but one problem is the mounting plate is not sitting flush.

There is no other way to move or adjust this based on the bolt pattern. Am I missing something?

Mine was exactly the same. The OCD in me was annoyed. But the step still functions exactly as designed, so I just accepted it.

What about a couple of heavy duty washers?

Mine was exactly the same. The OCD in me was annoyed. But the step still functions exactly as designed, so I just accepted it.

The problem is it comes up on just enough of an angle to smack the bumper.

Good idea... I have solved a lot of problems with just a few washers.

What part number did you order? I just placed an order yesterday for a bed step as well. From what I read on the forum there is three part numbers that “work” but #82216598AC is the one you want. I’ll link the post where I found this, says it should fit that notch and sit completely flush.
