What did I do to my RHO? I lost one set of keys!

Started the truck up, threw the kids in, and went to an arcade. When I got there I couldn’t find my keys. Tried turning the truck on and of course it wouldn’t turn on.

I’m thinking I put the keys on the tailgate cover and drove off or something stupid. I drove my old steps. Checked the house. Nowhere. Wife came and gave me my spare.

I lost them. I’m so dumb

Did you not get a “no key detected” error on your dash? If you didn’t, then you likely lost it at the arcade.

Got home from vacation yesterday and parked left the RHO outside the garage since I was gonna give her a wash in the morning. Move the truck over by my shed to wash in morning. Get out and walk to hose and look back at truck just in time to see a doggone mouse drop out of the engine bay area. That mouse had already chewed on a paper towel roll in the bed that hadn't been during the trip!

Parked the truck inside later on and set a fresh trap in case another mouse drops out. There is a nest somewhere, just hoping the mouse was too busy chewing on paper towels to chew on wiring. Checked the engine bay but couldn't see anything.

Try these,had the same problem. stuck these in after cleaning up, haven't had an issue since.

It honestly is a chill message. Just the dash says “key not detected” but it’ll let you drive until you turn it off.

Email [email protected] and ask to add the digital key to your ram app. You coulda saved the wife the trip or not lost the fob in the first place. It works perfect no issues.

Was just about to say that works perfectly, even with my Apple watch. If you don't have that just keep the key card in your wallet. Not being critcal, hindsight is always 20/20.

While driving the truck did an update to address the rear visibility system.
No issues with the update.
The cool part of the trip was being on an 85 MPH toll road and cruising at 100 MPH flawlessly.
The more I drive this HO Hurricane the more impressed I become.

I pulled a massive dead rat out of my dash about 4 months ago...a friggin nightmare

Put on some ARK ful size mud flaps (the green emblem matches the truck great).

Took off the $129 Amazon bed step, angle grinded a couple small pieces out of it so it sat over the bump out in the frame, painted it back up to prevent rust, and reinstalled. Fits perfect now and does not touch the bumper.

Dropped her off at the dealer for a new front differential and axles.....Hopefully the repairs go smoothly....Got a charger scat pack for a loaner...That thing is Load AF!!

New front diff and axles?!?!? Please do tell what led to that? How many miles on your truck?

As of today she has 1863 miles...She started to "Clunk" when I turned...Dealer determined defective differential and axles...I marked the differential in the webbing with a round file,just to see if they are honest and not trying to scam a repair.

Craziness! I am at 12,600 miles and occasionally get a little driveshaft clunk, but I’m managing to ignore it so far.

Weird spot to be in...I have the same issue and want to replace the drive shaft but that would mean a voided warranty.

How would replacing the driveshaft void the warranty???...Your water pump goes out and they will blame the driveshaft???

Give them any reason...my service advisor recommended that I keep the original drive shaft and If I need warranty work of any kind to just swap it back.
My local mechanic said the same thing but it would be 150.00 to remove and replace each time.

my truck is in for a rear right axle replacement as i type this, it has an ECD driveshaft, it's being covered under warranty...
