What did you do to your RHO Today?

Slapped on a rhino emblem from Exotic Innovations (forged carbon fiber and billet silver), RHO emblem overlay (bright silver) and inlay (gloss black) from Etsy, some RAM overlays (forged carbon fiber) and gloss black fender vent covers from Amazon

Front red tow hook covers installed.

I tried installing one on the back to see how the fit, but they’re slightly different angles that the fronts, so the front covers are definitely for the front only. Anyone find rear covers? I’m thinking I can get 2 more fronts and just trim off a half inch at the ends maybe.. that’s where the front covers on the rear hooks experiment seemed to fail the alignment.

I tried a few covers and never really liked the fit of any of them. Finally got 2 cans of red plastidip and sprayed them myself. Turned out great. A bit of a chore getting the front hooks off, but well worth it. The rears are a piece of cake if you wanted to do a trial run.

I never understood why more people didn't do this. Never understood why people by the covers instead of just painting or plasti dipping them. 95% of us will never utilize those hooks so no.need to worry about the paint getting damaged

I think the covers are a great way to test colors if you’re on the fence. But I completely agree - plastidip or powder coating is the way to go.

Yikes! There are 13 shades of red. I don't know if I can deal with the pressure, SWMBO may have to choose.

Looks Great....what specific Lasfit tailgate mat did you select? I was about to purchase the Lasfit Bed mat specifically for the RHO but I didn't see a combo option for the RHO and I wasn't sure about which bed mat to select from the RAM 1500 options. Thanks

This is the one. My receipt shows up to '26, but it currently has updated on the site to say up to '27.

It says it doesnt fit RHO, but I took the chance, and it does. I have no idea why it says it doesnt fit. I think some may have issues with the power tailgate, but mine does not. I have a tailgate seal as well (which sucks, havent found a good one yet that actually works), I have to help my power latch close with the seal, but had zero issues with the lasfit mat. This one fit perfect, and the tailgate had no issues.

2 over the air updates lately and then a bed step and brawler tips today finally. Work has been crazy lately and took forever to finish up.

Decided to not put the Cat6 back on the Grand Wagoneer since we may be trading it in and put it on the RHO. Level 3 / Level 5 pedal. This is how the truck should have come from the factory. Way smoother and pulls like a freight train. Definitely recommend it.

After 3 weeks of failed updates with the truck in a location with strong WiFi and strong cellular, I finally successfully updated in a remote area from UConnect software build 39 to 42.

Not the 1st time I’ve had better luck with an OTA update in an area with no cell or WiFi service.

@RamCares: Can you explain how these OTA updates are being transmitted to the truck?

Regardless, UConnect is definitely more snappy, no more 1.5s delays with every click. Huuuge…

Drove up to Waco today to meet some friends. Wife asked if I was taking the Vette, I said no...the RHO is made for trips like this.
Simply put...It's a friggin highway beast, averaged 15.3 MPG, Driving mostly at 80 MPH.
The more I own this truck the more I am impressed. I did get passed by another badass RHO along the way .
Definitely enjoying the RHO!

Installed the afe drop in dry filter. A little more snappy at the pedal. More engine noise. Seems like it helps feed the turbos a bit quicker. Im running the cat 6 on level 3 with 93 octane. Pedal setting to #4. Biggest reason I got it though is so that every other oil change i can wash it out. No oil to foul things up. Quicker maintenance. Im happy with it. Its a substantial filter. Heavy. Well built.

It really is the do all vehicle. You can make runs to the grocery store. Runs to the home improvement store. Tow haul. Take trips and when feeling froggy race. All the while in comfort and style. The mpg is not bad either better than my 2005 with a hemi. Only thing I do miss is that hemi sound but I don't mind the more quiet sound its starting to grow on me. I enjoy mine as well.
