What did you do to your RHO Today?

Apparently I'm charging my battery and going to go to the dealership and get it replaced. 530 miles. Oh, and it was fully charged 24 hours ago. 😡
Damn so it's YOUR fault! I went out to a dead battery yesterday morning, too. Well technically it was Tuesday night because I tried to unlock it with the card after getting home from Stars v. Jets game and it wouldn't unlock that way. Didn't think anything of it until I tried to take my daughter to school yesterday morning.

Jumped it and got it to the dealer for a new battery and first oil change @ 2810 miles

Funny how when the battery isn't quite right the whole system gets pissy.....lights all over the dash

google fitcamX, not sure if you’re familiar

I am, wanted to buy then I learnt the camera footage is trash.. the power connection to the mirror and the OEM look is great though. That's what I'm aiming for too

It’s kind of sad when there are more “What did you do today” posts for new batteries than exciting mods this week!

Mine is sitting for 3 days while I’m on work travel. Hopefully it fires up at 1am when I return 😂

I did just set an appointment for tint and decal install for next week, so looking forward to that.

I put D lux on all plastic and rims. Finally a nice day in western NY

During checkout, while purchasing my Carbon Fiber Gear license plate frame, I was talked into these little beauties to save on shipping. I decided to tackle the installation at lunch. With no lift, I had to actually crouch down. Tough but I got it done. I torqued them to finger tight. ;)

First oil change yesterday at almost 5 months ownership and 2k even miles. Decided to try out wheels after being told they will swap my tires for $50. Now gotta decide to level or not. Very tempting for price they gave me to swap front springs 🤣

I would try hooking up a second running car to it with jumper cables and try jumpstarting after 20 minutes, the noco isn't going to cut it, you'll be waiting two days. Even though it says it is full, it's not.
That was good advice. My buddy got a helluva laugh out of rescuing my RHO with his Rebel. I've read others here say theirs wouldn't jump off, but mine did.

Thank God he didn’t have a Ford to jump you. It definitely could have been worse.

I’ve been curious of the recovery procedure in event of dead batteries. Were you able to jump it as you normally would by hooking to only the main battery? Any additional steps that are needed?

Put it on the Noco Charger this morning after taking delivery last night. Battery showed a 1 of 4 bars on the charger. Let it go this morning until it showed green, reads 14.0v now so fingers crossed.

Looks normal according to the manual but some have reported issues with trying to jump via portables.

Had Dallas Offroad 4X4 put my bead lock rings on. They did a great job and even commented on the look. Considering almost everything in the lot waiting for one or another mod had bead locks they did look pretty good. 😊

Here is their website if you are in N. Texas
https://www.dallasoffroad.com/

A guy there works summers in Ouray, where I intend to bring this, and he works as a guide. I shared my YouTube with my Colorado Fall colors and he knew every place. He even gave me some suggestions where to go and not to based on my wheelbase. Great guys there. They mentioned they really liked the way the beadlocks looked, especially on the truck.

“Much like the rug in The Big Lebowski, the bead locks really tied the whole look together.”

One of my "buddies" owns that shop. We used to race quads at the back of my old subdivision a few years back for fun. Then I moved to Denton and oddly enough he moved into the house right behind me. He doesn't live there now and not sure what he drives now. He did have a Gladiator on 40s for a bit

Beadlocks look killer!

I jumped it off normally with the cables hooked up to just the main battery. We didn't try to crank it for 5 minutes to give it a fighting chance. Started up first try. The aux battery tested fine (I'm running the Autostop Eliminator).

Got Llumar F1 ceramic tint done everywhere except the windshield. This is my first time with ceramic. It was 94 here today and I drove with the pano wide open and my head and arms weren't feeling any heat from the sun like they normally do. Impressive.

I would've jumped it myself with my GT500 but my jumper cables were too short to reach across (batteries on opposite sides from each other in the garage)

I'm just gonna put this out there and not bashing you @ah64aviator . Those considering ceramic window tint really should go ahead and tint the windshield. It's the single largest piece of glass on the vehicle, protects the dash, and actually helps ceramic do what it's meant to do. They have lighter shades (almost clear on some) but IMO, ceramic tint is a wash if you skip the windshield.

Pinnacle or Stratos?

Hmmm. I don't know. I didn't ask. What's the difference? They said it's the best they have.

No offense taken. I considered it. Still might do it but my concern is distortion in the windshield.
