What did you do to your RHO Today?

Hmmm. I don't know. I didn't ask. What's the difference? They said it's the best they have.
It looks like Pinnacle, my personal favorite as it has true black color, but technically Stratos is Llumar's best.

I'll check the paperwork. I'm curious now.

No offense taken. I considered it. Still might do it but my concern is distortion in the windshield.
I did all of my glass last month. My tint shop uses the XPEL products, however there's no significant distortion from the film on the windshield. And like others said, you can go nearly colorless if you want

I know I read here that this is a $80-90k truck and you should spend every available dollar on accessories knowing that fact… but I’m going with the lower grade XPEL for my front windows to avoid needing to do every window panel to get the benefit of ceramic. I’ll just sit my kiester in my ventilated seats and suffer thru it.

One of my "buddies" owns that shop. We used to race quads at the back of my old subdivision a few years back for fun. Then I moved to Denton and oddly enough he moved into the house right behind me. He doesn't live there now and not sure what he drives now. He did have a Gladiator on 40s for a bit

Beadlocks look killer!
That’s awesome 👏 everyone there was super cool to chat with. I went to another shop (not to be named) and they were discouraging, almost made me question buying these. They basically said I should buy my own tools and do it myself, it would be cheaper…

I called Dallas Offroad and they cost less per wheel to put the bead locks on than Discount Tire wanted to charge to change tires from off road to street tires on my previous Ford. They did them same day and were quick.

Installed some tamper resistant security screws for the center display. Threw some more mileage on it to get it past the break in period.

I installed security screws also, but you should have used screws with a security bit. If they ever have to remove your dash or that info cluster they will have to cut them off damaging the surrounding plastic.

Not the most major of projects but I liked this little accent piece

I bought more toys. I am planning a trip to Little Sahara in NW Oklahoma, the beginning of June. I have orange safety flags (square and triangle) and a 10' sectional pole, flag pole disconnects, on order, and these mounts, which I put on the tow hooks today to get ready. I also purchased an air compressor I can use with my GRECEL T-1000 battery bank once the supplied 20V battery is too tired to finish the job. Now that I have the beadlocks installed, I plan on airing down to enjoy the dunes and will need to fill them back up before getting back on the highway. I also picked up an air down tire tool with an analog gauge to reduce the air pressure quicker. Also, put the Autostop Eliminator - AE055 Harness on order as well.

Based on the discussions here on the forum, I decided to drop my PSI to 38. So it was a good test for the air pump to get them back to 38psi once I let a bunch of air out. I used my T-1000 and the 12v adapter to air them up as the battery came almost drained. So its on a charge while I used the 12v adapter and the T-1000 12v plug in.

I went to my tint shop and they told me they couldn't do the windshield due to the electronics... Have you had any issues?
They can do it, just have to use less water, and not squeegee heavily. The first couple days you can see a lot of water behind the film, but it dries out. Also ask them to stuff a lot of soak strips between windshield and dash to grab up any water. If water does get down there, it can kill the modules behind dash.

Absolutely not! I had both the entire windshield done with almost clear tint to block IR and UV and a 5% across the top A1Line to help where the visors don’t cover. Also, my CamX dashcam was also installed.

Honestly, that’s probably a good indication that you should find a different installer. It’s good they gave you awareness to the potential issue, but it’s not good they aren’t confident enough to install while controlling the amount of water that gets behind the dash.

Wait you're in Edmond OK?? Go see my guy Korbin at TurboTint North...drop my name they will take care of you. No issues after they did mine.

Sounds like you need a different tint shop. I had an XPEL dealer do mine, every piece of glass on the entire truck including the windshield a few days after I got the truck. 2 month and almost 2k miles later, no problems.

Where did you have yours done? I'm considering it and definitely want to get my sunroof done. The rest of the glass was done at the dealer and of course I was WAY overcharged ($600) but it's done and lifetime warrantied so I'm not complaining too much. I'm pretty certain it's not ceramic and I had to MAKE them do the rear glass (most dealers only tint the two fronts because the rest of the glass is smoked and it increases their profit margin since it costs them about $75 to have the fronts done) but I want ceramic on the sunroof because Texas summers!
