Just got a notice on my new 26 last night as I returned home. I did not accept. Instead, turned off vehicle and went inside. I had no issues to date other than in DS "Clunk" while in Sport mode.
Had the same to a degree - there was a notification on the screen when it completed that said it could take up to 24 hours for all app functionality to return. All seems well this morning.I had an issue with all the shortcuts not working AT ALL. Tried them in Android Auto and the home screen, nothing. Held the power button down on the volume knob and restarted the system, everything back to normal.
I'm not sure if it was because of the update or not, but just putting it out there in case others have a similar issue.
LOL!I’m in a ram rebel rental today. Is the Uconnect system this bad. CarPlay doesn’t seem to consistently work.
So this proves there really is not point where they stop and say… maybe the display isn’t the problem here…LOL!
I'm in a Service Center Loaner, while the RHO is in for its sixth Infotainment Screen & Module replacement.
The screen on the loaner keeps flashing an error message about an UConnect Box issue and suggests seeking a qualified service center for repairs.
Seems like UConnect was programmed by fingerless, blind, dyslexic monkeys
Mine did the same thing yesterday morning before I decided to move forward with the update.Truck asked to do the update. A bit scared to do it before I sleep and have to get up for work, really don’t want to come out to a dead truck or something.
I’ve noticed my last three trips since it’s offered the update that when I turn the truck off, open the door, close the door and even lock it that the radio does not shut off. If I get back in and cycle the start button to run then back off and open the door again it shuts off. Normal?
I’m still very new to th truck, just hit the 100 mile mark.
It’s ridiculous. Throwing parts at it that does nothing to fix the problem. So this proves there really is not point where they stop and say… maybe the display isn’t the problem here…
I’m seeing this a lot. Let’s replace the same component multiple times, and surely the 7th time will fix it!
Good to know. I did read on another forum during my quick search this morning that other trucks have been seen doing this when ready and asking for the update. I’m going to do it when I get home from work in the morning.Mine did the same thing yesterday morning before I decided to move forward with the update.
I've had that happen probably 3 times PRIOR to the update so I don't think that's what caused your problem. That particular issue happened back in October I think within a matter of 2-3 weeks, but it hasn't happened since.Welp, after I did the update (not blaming it, just reporting), that at the gas station the doors this morning would not unlock. Luckily, I was able to unlock the front door with the key.
same here.I did it and no issues so far. I hope it stays the same.
