CAI or no CAI???

Your last question contributes absolutely nothing to the conversation…

Im just sharing for people who actually want to hear an opinion from an actual customer.

I can find out why the smaller filter but I’m not sure if you will just be wasting my time.

K&N products are crap. Bottom of the barrel. They do not filter very well at all. If you have one take a clean paper towel and wipe your throttle butterfly. You will find oil and dirt. What they are is a great marketing company. That is all. Plenty of keyboard warriors making claims of greatness based on nothing but K&N’s own false claims.

Wait for it …
That is your opinion and that is ok. My claims come from real life experiences. I've had many K&N intakes and never a single issue...even with high mileage vehicles. It sounds good, no check engine light, my MPGs improved and I'm sure it adds some power. Ive yet to do some 0-60s to see if my time of 4.2 improves.

I think this might be a length vs. girth issue.

all kidding aside, I think we need to look at entire surface area. Having said that - at first glance, the factory filter looks larger. But comparing the factory air box and tube to the K&N set-up, the K&N looks much better. Air box is bigger and intake tube is substantially beefier.

Yes, factory setup is so restrictive. There is so much more room in the K&N airbox allowing air to flow more freely, and the tube is less restrictive too. OEMs have to balance performance with emissions compliance, induction noise limits, service intervals, etc. and that can compromise tubing diameter, resonators, bends, filter and airbox design. A properly engineered aftermarket intake reduces restrictions and improves airflow resulting in performance gains.

Real life experience!? 🤣🤣
Bro, I've called out your paid bias multiple times...getting a kickback from companies to promote their products is totally fine, but you never give full disclosure.
Let's not forget that you also promoted the K&N intake on this truck that was for the wrong engine...you made some wild claims of HP on that one too. But then 2 different tests were done (one being Burger tuning JB4 RHO dyno test) showing it actually lost HP.
Not 1 intake has actually been proven to increase HP over the factory setup yet.
But, you keep making that money booboo.

Sincerely, Keyboard Warrior.

So, how long have you worked for K&N?

Not going to waste time with you...bro. Everything you just spat out is false. Hope you are enjoying your Raptor.
