Thanks. Yes, trail rated vs stock. I know Extreme is going to be too much for my liking… I’m coming from a Hemi with a stock exhaust and I still enjoy what it sounds like when I get on it, but also enjoy that I can have a conversation with my family in any normal driving condition.
Just want to hear it wake up when I put the pedal down. Seems like trail rated can be a good compromise, so just curious if any video clip would compare stock to trail rated and do the sound difference justice.

I enjoy my trail rated one. Turn off everything in your truck, open the sliding rear window and get in it. Sounds plenty deep and loud along with the BRRRAP when shifting gears. Tried to get my wife to get in the bed of the truck and get video but was ultimately turned down lol.

New RHO Exhaust Comparison Coming Soon
We were about to get sound clips of our freshly installed Extreme Mid Pipe when another brand-new RHO pulled up wanting to hear it in person. After a quick ride through the business park, he loved the tone—but ended up going with our Trail Rated system instead.
This video is just a teaser (not an exact throttle match), but it gives a solid idea of how both setups sound. We’ve got full interior audio for the Extreme, but since the Trail Rated truck showed up late in the day, we only grabbed exterior clips.

Any updates on this? Really considering the Trail Rated. Drone, comparison to stock of etc? Worth it ??
The Trail Rated Mid-Pipe gives your truck a deeper, smoother sound than the factory exhaust. It controls drone well and brings out a stronger tone when you step on the gas—without making the truck overly loud.
At idle and highway speeds, it stays quiet, which makes it a great choice for daily driving.
If you watch a comparison video between the Trail Rated and the Extreme versions, you’ll hear the difference right away. The Extreme is much louder and more aggressive, while the Trail Rated strikes a nice balance with a more refined sound.
Most drivers say the Trail Rated isn’t a huge change from stock, but it definitely adds depth and a cleaner tone. It sounds more exciting under throttle but stays calm during normal driving. If you want a subtle upgrade that adds character without too much noise, the Trail Rated is a great option.

I will say the Extreme setup is by far the more popular of the two. That said, every customer I’ve spoken with who chose the Trail Rated has been extremely happy with their decision.
Oh i have no doubts it probably sounds the best, im just worried about my neighbors. Most of them have little kids, and i work at 4 am. I dont need to be the d…head of the block . A cold start at that time could be… fun.
Totally get where you're coming from—and honestly, props to you for thinking about your neighbors, especially with little kids around and a 4am start time.
The Trail Rated mid-pipe definitely has a deeper tone than stock, including at cold start, but it’s nowhere near the level of a diesel truck firing up in the morning. It’s more of a clean, mellow rumble than an aggressive bark.
So far, I haven’t heard of anyone getting complaints with the Trail Rated setup—unless they live next to a full-time Karen
. It adds personality without crossing the line into “wake-the-whole-block” loud.If you’re looking for an exhaust that gives you a refined sound without becoming the neighborhood alarm clock, the Trail Rated hits that sweet spot.

We just finished installing our Extreme Mid-Pipe (Part #92T810) on this Ram RHO. Even though the weather outside is definitely not fully ripe for tearing up the pavement right now, the exhaust note is still a warm, comforting welcome on a cold, wet winter day. Seriously, that sound is a cure for the winter blues.
If you're stuck indoors thinking about your next upgrade, nothing beats that aggressive MRT rumble to remind you of spring!
