Thanks. Yes, trail rated vs stock. I know Extreme is going to be too much for my liking… I’m coming from a Hemi with a stock exhaust and I still enjoy what it sounds like when I get on it, but also enjoy that I can have a conversation with my family in any normal driving condition.

Just want to hear it wake up when I put the pedal down. Seems like trail rated can be a good compromise, so just curious if any video clip would compare stock to trail rated and do the sound difference justice.

I don’t have 1 but there are several out there. Yes…you put your foot in it, it absolutely comes to life.

I enjoy my trail rated one. Turn off everything in your truck, open the sliding rear window and get in it. Sounds plenty deep and loud along with the BRRRAP when shifting gears. Tried to get my wife to get in the bed of the truck and get video but was ultimately turned down lol.

We were about to get sound clips of our freshly installed Extreme Mid Pipe when another brand-new RHO pulled up wanting to hear it in person. After a quick ride through the business park, he loved the tone—but ended up going with our Trail Rated system instead.


This video is just a teaser (not an exact throttle match), but it gives a solid idea of how both setups sound. We’ve got full interior audio for the Extreme, but since the Trail Rated truck showed up late in the day, we only grabbed exterior clips.

I like the extreme but just not my style anymore at 58 years old. The Trail Rated sounds plenty good to me. It damn sure sounds good enough that I’m not going to spend $2-3K for an exhaust.

I like the Magnaflow. Check out their video on YouTube. Also waiting for Borla, Corsa and AWE. How could you not?
